Ordered chicken Phad Thai. The chicken had that cooked a day or two before and reheated. When I pay $15 for a plate of noodles and a chicken breast I expect freshly cooked ingredients. Very disappointing.

If you are in on the gossip of Peterborough, this Indian person married a Thai lady. The Indian fellow owned a bar where the Thai lady is cooking up the daily serving of Chicken Tikka Masala and the Indian person is cooking Thai green curry with Pad Thai. To my utter disappointment, everything is over done on the palm sugar... More

Thoroughly enjoyed date night at Village Of Thai. Food was delicious and the servings were plentiful. We will return!

Spur of the moment for dinner for two. Portions were big and both took half a plate home. Taste was ok but was expecting more from what thought was a specialty thai place. It was ok but have had better pad thai from basic take out. Other meal turned out to be basically butter chicken and sauce tasted similar to... More

My daughter is a student at Trent and she's never been. We only went because we had the 15% off coupon from Peterborough Inn and Suites. Pad Thai, spring rolls and samosas were TO DIE for. Portions are huge, as has been reported, and we had enough for lunch and dinner another day. We also had a glass of wine... More

We have eaten here many times and it never disappoints! We usually get take-out but have eaten in a couple of times too. The food is really good, 1 order of Pad Thai is enough to feed 2 adults for dinner, especially with a delicious appetizer like Pakoras or Cold Spring Rolls. Restaurant atmosphere would be the only weak point... More

We were visiting Peterborough and saw this restaurant my husband and I had never had Thai food before and we both loved it! The portions were huge. We each got an entree but we could have easily split one and had leftovers. Reasonably priced for the portion size

I have eaten at over 100 different Thai restaurants and this is by far the worst. The food does not even resemble authentic Thai cuisine. The Pad Thai, to take an example of a dish that is ubiquitously served but so seldom mastered, tastes like it was laced with plum sauce for egg rolls from some Canadian Chinese restaurant. Still... So, I ordered a vegetable curry to go and I received a pile of tofu and some bok choy. Along with some rice, this cost me $17.95. What a rip off. If you want vegetables, don't order the vegetable curry at this place... A few bok choy leaves is not enough and, as far as I'm concerned, tofu (commonly made... More
