Great Thai

Very good food. Good presentation. Reasonably priced. Small intimate restaurant, right on George Street.

Anytime I feel cravings for a meal full of flavor and spices this place never disappoints. I have visited Village of Thai many times, both alone or with kids or friends and ordered take-outs just as frequently. You guessed it - I love Thai food. The place is not fancy but the food is excellent and very affordable. Give it... More

Recent dinner...was expecting the quality of food, service and atmosphere from previous visits. Appetizers were acceptable. However, the two main entrees were both lacking, questionably flavoured and watery. Cannot fathom why this downgrade in food quality, but I do not anticipate returning.

Worst pad thai i have had. i have travelled all over thailand, and craving it while travelling through peterbourogh, we stopped at this restaurant. facility is run down, washrooms are gross. you expect that in thailand, but not here in canada. it was a disappointing experience. did not finish the dish. the shrimp was very fishy tasting. the only good... Ordered chicken Phad Thai. The chicken had that cooked a day or two before and reheated. When I pay $15 for a plate of noodles and a chicken breast I expect freshly cooked ingredients. Very disappointing.

If you are in on the gossip of Peterborough, this Indian person married a Thai lady. The Indian fellow owned a bar where the Thai lady is cooking up the daily serving of Chicken Tikka Masala and the Indian person is cooking Thai green curry with Pad Thai. To my utter disappointment, everything is over done on the palm sugar... More

Spur of the moment for dinner for two. Portions were big and both took half a plate home. Taste was ok but was expecting more from what thought was a specialty thai place. It was ok but have had better pad thai from basic take out. Other meal turned out to be basically butter chicken and sauce tasted similar to... More

My daughter is a student at Trent and she's never been. We only went because we had the 15% off coupon from Peterborough Inn and Suites. Pad Thai, spring rolls and samosas were TO DIE for. Portions are huge, as has been reported, and we had enough for lunch and dinner another day. We also had a glass of wine... More
