The Magic Rolling Pin was an amazing experience. I was there with a group of girls from my office, celebrating the new baby that was just about ready to arrive. We were greeted with smiling faces, the staff was helpful is walking us through the menu options and feature items, and the atmosphere was so lovely and perfect for a... More

The Magic Rolling Pin has recently been bought by the chef and his wife. if you want something a little different from the chain restaurants try here. Open for lunch and tea, pretty china, tablecloths and a nice setting in an old house. Lots of different teas served properly. Good food and a pleasant atmosphere.

I visited this Tea Room, Restaurant November, 2014 with a group of Ladies and was impressed with the quaint décor and very home made food menu. Everything is made on the premises and daily. Service was delightful and describes in detail the menu. They also do catering. The price is reasonable and their Coconut cream pie was the best I've... More

I am so glad I stumbled across this place on trip advisor! My friend and I went to The Magic Rolling Pin today and it is now officially a favourite lunch spot. The service was impeccable and the food was imaginative, tasty and seconds worthy...but trust me, don't go for seconds as you'll want to leave room for dessert! The... More

Great little hideway in old house, everything is homemade, baking is to die for. Good fresh lunches all homemade as is the soup, price is reasonable and atmosphere is great, eating in small rooms.

Eaten several times here, for lunches. Food has always been fresh and very tasty. Love the seafood crepes! A lovely place to go for a ladies luncheon. My grandmother loved that the tea was served in dainty teacups and not mugs. The desserts were excellent. The staff are always friendly.

We didn't eat here, but rather ordered a cake for a special event. We've ordered from pretty much every place in Peterborough over the years, and I can honestly say this was the best cake we've had yet. (Maple Cake). Highly recommended and certainly worth trying yourself if you're in the market for an exceptional cake. Ever single person that... More

Great setting near downtown with good parking on the streets and a few spots behind the restaurant. Great selection of teas and fantastic pies and cakes, made fresh, in house! The staff are friendly and attentive.

This is a favourite spot for my Mom and I. If we're out shopping downtown, or have a busy day of errands planned, we love taking the time to stop into this great spot. The food is always delicious (we always love getting the soup - their soup selection is so vast, I don't know if I've ever had the... More
