Didn't get round to eating but we popped in on a hot afternoon for a beer while cycling the canal and were not disappointed. Ottawa is a generally a terrible place for drinking beer. There is nice beer produced in Ontario but because of the silly alcohol laws you are only allowed to purchase it at the brewery or at... More

Stopped by for a drink after walking around the Glebe on a hot day. Had a nice patio, but we choose to stay inside as it was so darn hot out.

I found this pub right next to my house in the Glebe! We went there with a friend on a friday night. Great Service, super nice waitress; good food for a pub and good blond beers from their own brewery ! I really recommend it!

A $5 dollar brunch - in the Glebe! The Arrow and Loon is an average pub but for a neighbourhood, that's worth it. Also their cheap brunch provides a lot of food, so the value is great. Their servers are always reliable and you can't say that at of all the restaurants in the area. Worth going.

Wednesday night is the time to go there, all burgers on half price. Nice atmosphere, very Canadian, with huge screens showing hockey games (very nice for foreigners, I'd say). Just take care to make really sure that the waiter understood that you want your pop drinks without ice :).

Glebop, a local jazz trio band, invited someone that I know to be a guest singer for one of their shows at the Arrow and Loon. A group of us decided to take in the show over dinner. The place looks like any other pub, but what caught my eye was that there was a vegan option for pizza. Normally... More

Love the arrow and loon. It's always pleasant and cosy. They make great fries and have a terrific selection of local beers. A safe bet when you are pubbing around town and a nice stop after an evening skate on the canal.

Great fish and chips in a light batter just one of the many excellent dishes. Had the fish and chips the last time that I was in with a Beaus Lug Tread beer. About 20 varieties of local micro brewed beer.

like: the burgers and good for a drink with friends with greasy pub food. but it's pretty dingy and a little overpriced for what it is: a pub in a mini-mall. might suggest some of the more unique spots around the glebe for a drink out, and a little more ambience, instead.

The beer selection is large, from 'the usual' domestics and imports to local and provincial microbrews and rare imports -- it becomes a challenge to not have something you already know you like so that you keep trying something new. The food is a wide variety of flavours and combinations, from traditional pub fare to a variety of new takes... More
