I took my goddaughter to Flippers for her first ever treat of King Crab. The service is outstanding, and the food was, as usual, the best.
A half hour walk from the downtown hotel and well worth it. Presentation, portion size, ambience, and quality was stellar. Had the stuffed haddock and would return to have it again if I lived in Ottawa. Just plain pleasant and quiet enough to actually have a conversation.

This was my first visit to Flipper's. I didn't much care for the decor and ambiance of the restaurant but the food was quite tasty and I guess that's what counts the most. The wine list could use improvement.
It was refreshing to go back after 10 years. Great atmosphere for our gathering, wonderful wine choices, and my Fish and Chips was wonderful. The service was incredible, although it was a slow Tuesday evening. Will take the family there next.
I have been going to Flipper's for years. It is a small and casual place with a cosy atmosphere. The service is great, the food is perfect. They know how to prepare all types of fish and seafood just right. The veggies are always fresh and tasty.

small nice and cosy restaurant . great service . short menu..limited but not bad prices reasonable you have to use the stairs and it's not easy with a baby stroller ! no elevator !
