Had a lovely brunch at the Fraser Cafe this weekend. Place was packed but we luckily got in. Would recommend a reservation. Food was very fresh and tasty and our servers were attentive and knew the menu very well. Donuts are a must; so delicious!

My wife and I had a great lunch at Fraser's today. It is lively, great for speaking and very good food. Perfect for talking and having a longer lunch together. Service was very good. Make sure to have a reservation as it was full.

The menu is special. Lot's of local and fresh ingredients. For starters the lobster and crab chowder is fantastic and the pork croquettes are good too. Mains include great salmon, BBQ beef strip loin and the surprise kitchen choice (well I won't ruin the surprise) is well worth taking a chance. The strawberry rhubarb pie for two is a delight... We went to celebrate 29 years of marriage. The whole experience was delighful. Our waitress Laura was a humourous hostess with class! Usually one of the Fraser brothers are cooking up ,but on this night Kyle a Young chef was getting his chance to shine in the kitchen, and shine he did the food was amazing. We shared the roasted... Have had great success for brunch and dinner on other visits - today was the day to try Fraser Cafe for a mid week lunch. We had a very nice lunch with great service and friendly server. The Shrimp Po'Boy Sandwich was very good but the Steak Sandwich was the winner. The house made super thin waffle chips are the... More

We went with the surprise option on the menu, and the owner picked just the right thing that every one wanted, for the all 4 of us! Great wine suggestion as well. It's definitely one of the things I missed the most in Ottawa.

We were in Ottawa visiting our son and daughter-in-law who live in the neighborhood and have been here often. We had a lovely meal. The wine was quite good. It is not a local "cheap but good", the food was well-prepared. My only caveat was the noise level, which dramatically decreased when the people at the table near us left.... More

I've heard such amazing things so I decided lets try it out for brunch. Overall it was really good, I was not in love with my eggs Benedict as the eggs were a bit over, and I really wanted a runny egg - however I did not specify how I wanted my eggs done, and it seemed they cooked everyone's... First time to this cafe. Small a quaint, unfortunately a little dark and very noisy. Food was excellent!! Table of 6, we all order the chef's choice (chef chooses, you don't know what you are getting). We got six different dishes that we all shared around the table. Flavors were excellent. I had the tuna appetizer. It was very good,... More

Dined with my family on Father's Day. It was certainly worth the time it took to get a reservation there. The food was cooked to perfection. Everything we tried was excellent. The portions were just right and the service was impeccable.
