Great dinner

I used to visit Red Lobster regularly when they had a location in Montreal but they closed all Red Lobsters in the province of Quebec ~15 years ago. Whenever I come to Ottawa, I try to stop off at Red Lobster. I showed up on a Thursday evening at about 6:00pm and was seated very fast. I ordered... read more

Went there last friday with my family. My daughter and I ordered the "tacos" mine was lobster. Hers was shrimp. My libster was chewy and tasteless. She like hers. My fiancé ordered fish and chips. It had too much batter and too salty. Overall experience was disappointed!! I haven't been here in 15 years...but seems like I didn't miss much.... More

We went for a mom-daughter lunch and got the $20 combos: potato bacon soup, coleslaw/caesar salad, shrimp alfredo and grilled shrimp, and brownies à la mode ans caramel cheesecake, and of corase garlic cheese buns.  We shared everything and it was all yummy particularly the soup, shrimp, and alfredo sauce.  What a great deal!  We will go for it again... We were told the wait would be 40 minutes but only got our table in an hour and a half. I cannot believe that people line up for this stuff!. The food was tepid with small portions and was tasteless. Price was high and not in line with what we got. The restaurant is dirty and needs either a good... More

On Saturday April 11, 2015, my wife and I were accompanied by friends of ours for a late diner at the Red Lobster on St. Laurent Blvd to celebrate two birthdays. It was a very busy Saturday night as we had a waiting period of one hour. However, once sitting at our table, we were enjoying delicious seafood within 20... More

I had not been to Red Lobster for several years and thought they had improved on the mediocre food I remembered from the past. They haven't. We went without a reservation on a Saturday night and had to wait for about 30 minutes, so they are drawing business. Once seated, the server took our orders fairly quickly, but was quite... More

Of course this is a chain and almost everyone's been to a Red Lobster someplace, sometime. This is the Red Lobster on St. Laurent Blvd., a good old stand-by, busy even at 3 pm on a Tuesday afternoon. It's simple: reliable, varied selection and great waiters. Today I went in alone and had the Chef's Selection, blackened Arctic Char and... More

We went for a Mother/Daughter dinner and movie night. We went to eat early (4:30) because we knew on Fridays it gets really busy. There was a line up when we left. The server was helpful and friendly. We liked their new menu design with all the menus in one - drinks, food, and dessert. Tip: Get the 4 course... More

I have ate in this restaurant many times. I live outside of Ottawa but when I visit Ottawa i always go here looking for a great Seafood Dinner. The Clam Chowder Soup and Fresh Biscuits are probably the best you will ever eat. The prices are reasonable on a great choice of menu and the service is great.

Visited this restaurant in late afternoon for late lunch/early dinner. We ordered caesar salad, some shrimps for my husband and some talapia for me. Everything was very good, hot and fresh....not a bad price for what we got. Service was good and attentive.
