Went with friends while visiting Ottawa, and enjoyed every morsel brought to the table. The serving staff were very helpful and friendly. If I lived in Ottawa I would be going there frequently.

Outside appearance looked good. Although, inside I found a little to dark and cramped. I was seated quickly on the patio. Very cheap plastic chairs but the table was clean and sturdy. Service was not the most friendly but they were efficient. Food at best was average. I had linguine with spicy Italian sausage. The waitress brought me bread and... More

I had the pizza with goat cheese, delicious. service always good, washrooms very clean. Excellent beer selection. Nice ambiance and a choice of different parts of the restaurant to sit in. My fave is the covered indoor patio. However in this day and age girls wearing mini skirts for serving is out of touch. How about a little class for... More

We stopped in here to celebrate my birthday with some drinks and snacks. I am so happy we chose this place, because as tourists - we had no idea where to go! The selection was great for beers, although a bit pricey. I am gluten free, and was very excited to see multiple cider selections, a couple of cocktails (although... More

Pub Italia, situated right on Preston Street, is one of a large number of excellent eateries in Ottawa's Little Italy. Although most of the establishments, of course, serve Italian food, there are other international choices: Thai, Korean, Indian -- to cite a few. Pub Italia, is actually (at least) three bistros in one. When you enter the open-air foyer, on... More

Didn't go for the food but the beer menu is always fun to look though to find a new favorite. Always a great place to get together with friends. Great atmosphere!

This is a lively restaurant with an outstanding beer selection. My family is accustomed to good Italian food. The entrees we had here were good but not memorable. My Rigatoni with Gorgonzola and pears was tasty, but if I return I will go for the thin crust pizza which looked very good. The ambiance is special, and our party had... More

Service was good and the atmosphere is nice. Bread basket had two pieces of 'artisan' type breads both hard as a rock and no where near Italian. Meatball sandwich. Neither of my two Nonnas or mothers would ever make meatballs like that. Honestly, my children make better authentic meatballs than that. Very disappointing food.

Pub Italia was booming with hungry customers during the Tulip Festival as we approached as a group of 8 hoping to get a table outdoors as it was such a gorgeous spring day. No such luck as we were sat inside. The décor is quite interesting and makes for good conversations, Gothic style and very busy matching the pub perfectly.... More

Pub Italia has it all: excellent food and the biggest beer selection in town. If you go during the summer, the courtyard patio is a nice spot to sit. If you during the winter, get yourself a nice booth - can be cozy and romantic if that's your thing. Also a great place to go with friends. It's located right... More
