This is a lively restaurant with an outstanding beer selection. My family is accustomed to good Italian food. The entrees we had here were good but not memorable. My Rigatoni with Gorgonzola and pears was tasty, but if I return I will go for the thin crust pizza which looked very good. The ambiance is special, and our party had... More

Service was good and the atmosphere is nice. Bread basket had two pieces of 'artisan' type breads both hard as a rock and no where near Italian. Meatball sandwich. Neither of my two Nonnas or mothers would ever make meatballs like that. Honestly, my children make better authentic meatballs than that. Very disappointing food.

Pub Italia was booming with hungry customers during the Tulip Festival as we approached as a group of 8 hoping to get a table outdoors as it was such a gorgeous spring day. No such luck as we were sat inside. The décor is quite interesting and makes for good conversations, Gothic style and very busy matching the pub perfectly.... More

Pub Italia has it all: excellent food and the biggest beer selection in town. If you go during the summer, the courtyard patio is a nice spot to sit. If you during the winter, get yourself a nice booth - can be cozy and romantic if that's your thing. Also a great place to go with friends. It's located right... More

This quirky Italian Pub is a must see in Canada's Capital, right in the heart of Little Italy.. The fun, if slightly sacreligious, decor is based on the idea that it is a temple of beer, with a Beer Bible on every table, and an astounding selection of local and imported beers. The menu is the usual Italian bistro favourites,... More

Nice ambience, really liked the place, but to pay $10 dollars for a slice of pizza listed as Half of Pizza also did not taste like hawaiin at all, was a real disappointment for me.Then is great they carry over 100 beers so I asked for a German beer that couldn't be warmer, asked for an exchange for a cooler... I went there not expecting anything amazing but when i entered i was totally impressed by the decor, they must of had great fun decorating the place. Regarding the food, I opted for half a pizza and a side salad which was lovely and not being a beer drinker i asked for some help choosing and the waitress was really... More

I would NOT recommend eating at Pub Italia, just had an awful experience eating there. The mussels were gross, weird dry texture, they must have been frozen, not fresh. And the bread that was put on our table was hard as a rock. Totally disgusting...and 'gluten free' vermicelli was listed as a type of pasta? Bizarre. Vermicelli is NOT pasta.... More

Pub Italia is definitely a one-off. I've never been to a place like it in all my travels. Very popular with the locals. We were there on a Friday night and they were lined up out the door. Food wasn't over the top fantastic, but well prepared - some unique items on the menu. Beer selection is incredible - 36... More

This is a really fun little place to visit for a few hours. The food was OK, the beer selection superb and the atmosphere really neat. In this age of cookie cutter franchise restaurants, it was nice to visit an original.
