My family and I tried this pub for our family evening meal. Great value for money - for main course and a drink for each of us $57. The kids meals were great - lots of food for them. My club sandwich was very nice (although fries a little grease saturated). My husband had the Lamb pie - which was... More

Had a fantastic time here. Ordered the Guinness burger, and was delish. Server recommended some great local beer. Super service and great food. Really enjoyed the outdoor patio and Jeff and Dale our servers. Next time I'm in Ottawa will definitely be back.

After a long day of sightseeing we stumbled upon this pub which is very close to Parliament. Very cute pub atmosphere. Great selection of beers, we tried some local Canadian brews. I loved that you could get some smaller portions of some meals. I had the smaller portion of shepherd's pie which was just great! Not too pricey. Nice meal... More

First and foremost, Thank you to our server Victoria.. you were awesome! For a server to casually ask how wedding planning was going and how we were enjoying it simply by seeing I was wearing an engagement ring... that's attention to detail and to your customers! Secondly, the food was amazing. As someone with a gluten intolerance, it can be... More

A pub named for the only Canadian politician ever to be assassinated, suspected to be by Irish Americans (Fenians) no less. The place has an excellent sidewalk patio with a view of the War Memorial, the NAC and the Chateau Laurier a great place to park and watch the tourists go by. If you have to sit inside the atmosphere... More

I ate here later in the evening a couple weeks ago and was very disappointed. The wait staff was not very attentive and it took about an hour from the time we arrived until the food arrived, despite having ordered within the first 15 minutes. I ordered a burger, which was heavily overcooked and underseasoned. Won't be returning here.

We recently stopped into D'Arcy McGees a couple of times on our long weekend in Ottawa. We were taking one of the Haunted Walk tours which leave from the office beside the pub, so this was a great location to grab a bite and a pint before or after the walk. We were able to sit outside both times since... More

This is a chain pub, but well run. The interior is authentic Irish and the food is very good. Located at the top of Spark street the patio offers a chance to enjoy the street buzz, as well as the pub craic.

Stopped by for drinks and dinner with colleagues, during a business trip to Canada. Our waitress (Dana) was very polite, prompt, professional, and a lot of fun (great sense of humor). She recommended a few local brews, which went well with the fish & chips I ordered. Other meals were well prepared and served piping hot to our outside table.... More
