Nice place

We stopped in for lunch. Great service, a good selection of beverages, and good food. My wife and I had a beer, my son had a soda. We all had an entree and shared the smothered fries. There were no leftovers.

The club sandwiches were $14.75 and while the young girl who served us got the two takeouts in a timely manner, it was awful. It was a tasteless sandwich. No real just cooked turkey! The bread was forgettable. And the fries were chunky without flavour. They were the worst fries I've ever tasted. I know it is airport food but... More

Enjoyed this pub so much we visited it twice over our weekend stay. Only had bar food so unable to comment on the food in the restaurant. Service at the bar was excellent, bar snacks were excellent and had a very bustling lively atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

This is a busy pub, with a wide variety of beers and efficient friendly service! The Guinness is quite good too!

We visited on a Friday evening and found the place to be lively and a bit loud but fun. The food was actually abetter than I had expected for a pub and we all enjoyed our meals. It is definitely a place that I will visit again.

The staff are friendly and some good variety of drinks. On the occassions I have been there there was live music (not very Irish) but good all the same. I have eaten in the bar twice and both times the food has been mediocre, the french fries have been notable poor but it was late on both occasions ( 9pm... More

We were 3 couples that met up on a Saturday night during Winterlude. We had to wait at the bar for about half an hour, but the bartender was attentive and there was a great vibe. We ended up with a nice table on the lower lever near the window. Food was good.

Was looking for a relaxing "pub" lunch in Ottawa and wanted something with atmosphere and a story! D'Arcy McGee provided that. Lively in the afternoon and packed by four. Burger was good and the Irish fries (like home-made potato chips) were incredible! Combined with a spicy aioli dip, they made the meal. Beer and food were worth the visit. Service... More

This is a lively Irish themed pub with a good atmosphere. There is a nice fell and we were made to feel welcome. The food menu was standard pub fayre with burgers, stews, sandwiches etc and though we did not eat the food looked fine and was reasonably priced. There is a good selection of beers and we enjoyed the Hop City... More

I am "torn" in this review of D'Arcy McGees....a pub we make a point to visit whenever we come to Ottawa because we love it so much. On our last visit we ate for the first time as we always just come in for a pint. The menu looked exactly like that of the Tir Nan Og in my hometown... More
