This is a killer location! Great pub atmosphere, wait staff are usually really cute girls in kilts, always nice in my books but their attitude and service is awesome. The kitchen pumps out excellent pub fare, a perfect place to go along, with friends or family. I work downtown and often use the pub for informal business meetings and it's... More

Excellent, reasonably priced menu. Always great service and a great atmosphere! Patio always has some great sight seeing in the warmer months!

I like the one on Sparks and Elgin (SE corner of Sparks); they have others in the Ottawa area. Bar was handcrafted in Ireland and shipped over. Selection is plentiful and service excellent. Prices are fair for downtown. Food is typical pub grub, but good nevertheless.

Good traditional pub food. Lots of beer varieties on tap. Outdoor patio when in season. Very central to all attractions. Gets very busy in summer and long weekends.

We stopped here for dinner before a show at the National Arts Center. The first think the waiter asked when he came to the table was if we were going to the show and what time it started at. I knew we were in good hands from this point on. The Cheddar and Ale dip appetizer was amazing. For our... More

We stopped in for lunch. Great service, a good selection of beverages, and good food. My wife and I had a beer, my son had a soda. We all had an entree and shared the smothered fries. There were no leftovers.

The club sandwiches were $14.75 and while the young girl who served us got the two takeouts in a timely manner, it was awful. It was a tasteless sandwich. No real just cooked turkey! The bread was forgettable. And the fries were chunky without flavour. They were the worst fries I've ever tasted. I know it is airport food but... More

Enjoyed this pub so much we visited it twice over our weekend stay. Only had bar food so unable to comment on the food in the restaurant. Service at the bar was excellent, bar snacks were excellent and had a very bustling lively atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.
