After 9 days in Rockland we were sick of the same old family restaurant food so looked for somewhere that served wholesome comfort food. We searched for an Irish pub. Found D'Arcy McGees. Excellent parking, friendly welcome, nice ambience, good service and great selection of meals to choose from. We really enjoyed the lamb and the corned beef meals followed... More

A group of 9 of us went in for dinner and the greeting and service were excellent, they adjusted some tables and we were seated very efficiently. The quality of the food was average to good and nobody complained about their food but nobody raved about it either. If or when you go, I'd expect that you would have some... More

We had been here before. In my opinion the food quality has slipped a bit. The beer and food offerings have a lot of choices. The staff is friendly. Be forewarned that this pub is noisy and lively. It is still well worth a visit and right downtown.

Warm welcoming staff. Fun and energetic pub with great live band. Best time on a Saturday night. You'll never be lonely traveling to this place. Very popular hot spot.

Food is good, pub is located centrally, across from the National Gallery, and amid the market and downtown shopping area.

After going through security it's great to have some authentic Irish food and appetizers. I've tried the Shepherd's Pie before--delicious vegetables, beef, and mashed potatoes. The waiters are very helpful. When I had only a half hr. before boarding, he suggested which meals would be finished faster. The calamari was delicious and was served fairly quickly. Great atmosphere here with... More

I was having a terrible time at the Ottawa airport, found out I was flying standby after booking my ticket months in advance. It was the Friday before thanksgiving and I waited an hour to get through security. I was in a very foul mood and was hungry which never helps to improve my mood. I ate at Darcy McGees... More
