I ordered the three tacos lunch plate, it was probably the smallest tacos I have ever had. The price was $14 for this rather poor meal. The chicken was bad, shredded and so dry and overly cooked that the sour cream didn't help. The meal did not come with a salad so the plate was just three appetizer-sized tacos, they... More

After a long day at the National Gallery, we were heading back to our car and stopped in Mambo Nuevo Latino for a drink on the patio. Great service and a nice margarita, but the best part was our waiter (I think his name was Henri) who was just so friendly and fun to talk to. We learned a lot... More

Decent food and very good portions. Some of the best-cooked shrimp and scallops I've ever had! Pretty spicy. Staff was helpful and nice.

The value for money at this place is not the greatest. In fact it is very expensive for a very basic chorizo with some lettuce and two small tacos. It's probably one of the lowest value for money places in Ottawa. I have been to many especially in the market area. The service was very slow and we had to... More

In a city that is beloved by Foodies, this place is deserving of five stars. The portions are generous. The ingredients are top- notch. The preparation is high quality. Add to the mix the fact that the service is efficient and friendly, and the result is dining pleasure.

Since it was very warm and we weren't in the mood for a heavy meal, we ordered a tapas style platter. It came with hearts of palm, red grapes, orange slices, crackers, pesto spread, black and green olives, bleu, brie and goat cheese. Everything was very fresh and delicious. Plenty for the 2 of us and just perfect for what... More

We went to have dinner here on a Friday night as we love Latin food and music. They were playing Latin music when we arrived and then as we were seated they began playing reggae music. When we inquired with our waitress on the music, we were told it was the particular DJ and once his set was done, it... More

What a great surprise! We went for the Sangria's that were recommended by a friend but came out raving about the Tapas. Everything was fresh and tasty with some very cool flavourings. The Sangria was also as good as expected but I can't stop talking about the food.

We went for a 10 p.m. dinner but they were only serving appetizers; with minimal selection. My husband ordered the tacos ($15), he got two, nothing more ... I ordered the nachos at the same price and shared (big plate, all dressed and reasonably tasty). The music was very loud; too loud for a place without a dance floor. The... More
