Went here with a couple of friends for brunch, and we ordered a variety of sweet and savoury dishes. The waffles were fresh and the poached eggs and hollandaise sauce were the best I have had. My wife was pleasantly surprised with her croissant sandwich. Would come back again and try some other dishes, as this was a positive experience.

Went with the family while on vacation. Didn't live up to expectations. You get a lot of bread but light on meat and veggies. If you are looking for white bread than this is the place for you. Expensive compare to other sandwich shops with poor service. The cashier appears to think that she is better than her current job... More

Had a nice lunch break at Pressed. Had been there only once before. Ordered the red pepper soup and a sandwich with black beans and guacamole. Everything was absolutely delicious. The sandwich came with the sweet potato chips. They don't salt them too much and they have wonderful taste and consistency. The meal took a little longer to come out... More

Nice little cozy café close to the Italian neighborhood. Nice selection of sandwich with homemade smoked meat such as boar, brisket and trout. The homemade chips are also wonderful. Prices are freaking ridiculous for the quality of the food. Waiter was really nice and helpful. I hear the weekend brunch of waffles are also very good but I have not... More

Dropped in, unexpected, at noon. Early enough to get quick counter service and a table without a close neighbour. Menu choices were/are quite nice and varied. Brisket chili for me. Smoked trout sandwich for colleague. Fancy soda pops. Chatted about work without being overheard. By 12:30 it was very busy and much louder. Not good for business lunches, like ours.... More

Visits Ottawa and took the opportunity to visit this resteraunt as it was featured on "You gotta eat here". Can't say this was a great place nor will I come here again. The atmosphere and service were great but the food was not what I expected. The "New South" was interesting, the chicken croquets were a little strange and I... More

My waffle was great. Had the big apple, boyfriend had the huevos ranchero, and friends both had the Nutella and PB. Very quick service, interesting flavours. The bottomless coffee was a little weak. The waffle was slightly tougher than I like. All and all, it was fantastic.

We found this place after not being able to get in at one of the very popular breakfast places not to far. And let me say, I'm glad we did, everything was so great from the food, to the ambiance. And the best things was we didn't have to wait for a table. I highly recommend checking this place out... More

Great little jem in what used to be a sketchy neighbourhood. Huge menu. Didn't order the signature waffles, but would the next time as everyone else in the resto seemed to have done so. We all had the pressed sandwiches which were fresh and delicious. Relaxed atmosphere will chill tunes. Great local beers on tap. Will definitely return!

Generally quantity spells doom for quality. So when a heap of home-smoked brisket and cheese curds flooded a mould of waffles, it looked like we were in trouble. However the gravy was real, and the brisket tender and intensely flavoured. The waffles were perfectly crunchy yet moist. Could have used some more cheese curds. But all in all, with a... More
