"Tourist Trap-Cold Food"

Service was immediate, but not friendly and then forgotten. Was attracted because of location and tired feet. Tried to order some starters but they were out of most on a Saturday afternoon and when we did find one that waitress said was very popular, it was served cold as it must have been frozen... read more

So good! Nice comfort food, and some adventurous food too. Love the clam chowder, Shepherd's pie, and the goat cheese salad.

Had the lamb pie and chicken pie ... Mostly pie and almost no filling. Burgers were good. Location is perfect if you're going to parliament northern lights show. Service was very professional and attentive. Great beer selection but wines are room temperature. Stick to burgers and beer and you won't be disappointed.

Stopped here just by chance, it was the best thing we could have done! Hubby got a delicious Fish n Chip Dinner, and I got the unbelievable plate of Linguini with clams, bacon and White wine sauce!!!! OMG!!! I am Italian, and I will just say it, "FANTASTIC", best ever, that includes all Italian Restaurants!!!! Our waitresses name is KAREN,... More

Relaxed and fun vibe at this local watering hole. Beer is cold & pub food menu plentiful. Great view of chateau Laurier, war memorial and Langevin block. History lesson about who is Darcy McGee should be told to all who stop here!

We were lured in by a nice looking patio and sore feet. We ordered several things.. Soup, shrimp sliders, clubhouse, coffee... The food was ok, pretty average. Service was cheery but the food took a long time to arrive. Sitting space was squishy between tables. It's a very busy central spot and affords a good view of war memorial activities.

Having sever food allergies to meat one would expect that the restaurant who offers vegetarian burgers would have ways to make the burger without touching meat. This is not the case so I asked for it to be cooked separately and the cooking staff laughed at me. So not cool! If you offer a vegetarian burger you had better have... More

My wife and I ate at this pub recently for lunch and enjoyed the food, beer, wine and crowd watching. The pub is right on Elgin Street near the WWI memorial. We ate outside in the shade and enjoyed watching the lunch time crowd pass by. We had wine, a Harp, onion soup, fish chowder and 2 chicken pot pies. The... More

My wife and I decided to stop in to Darcy McGee's for dinner and a drink. As expected the pub was nicely decorated as well as having a few large screen TV's for the sports enthusiast. We were seated promptly and our waitress followed shortly after. As expected of an Irish pub they had a very good drink selection of... More
