Excellent Band Good Service

Was here on a Saturday night for a few pints. Exceptional bar staff despite being a very busy place. Sitting at the bar doesn't allow to eat and drink at the same time. Nonetheless the service is great. Ordered 4 half and halfs ( 1/2 Guiness and 1/2 Harp) mixed perfectly. Great music. Was very... read more

The menu choice is average but the fish and chips were fresh and delicious. Atmosphere is food for conversation and good choices of beers on tap. So if you are looking for an English Pub it is a nice place and at a very central location close to a few hotels

We went there for a birthday celebration and we were well looked after as far as the service for our drinks and ordering our food, however, it took way too long from placing the food order, to it arriving at our table. The food was basic in taste and everyone at our table said that their meals were hardly warm.

We went to dinner. The pub was busy because of a hockey game but cleared quickly as patrons left to attend the game. The food was very good. We had four different dishes and they were all good quality. The service was terrible. At first we assumed it was because they were busy. But after the hockey fans left it... More

We like this place but tonight was the most disappointing food I have ever seen. The tandoori chicken wrap was a mess of vegetables with about 4 pieces of chicken that had been OVER soaked in a bottled tandoori sauce and placed on an unappealing wrap. The chicken club was your basic chicken loaf from the Sobeys next door and... More

The food was excellent. If you order Fish and Chips make sure you have an appetite. They had a nice slaw with it. There could have been a few more chips but all and all was very good. The Beef and Guinness was excellent with fluffy mashed potatoes and a salad. The selection of beers and ales was pretty much... More

Stopped for a quick lunch and couple beers. Food was ok for basic pub grub but definitely nothing special. Thought it would have been better with it being a chain. Good location with a patio. Server was very perky and upbeat which helped but don't think I would go back as there is to many places to choose from in... More

My husband and I had a great dinner here. Ice cold beer and fantastic fish and chips. The place was booming! And yet we still had excellent service! Awesome!

Warm mushroom salad wasn't warm. Tasted good but nothing special. My friend's gravy with his poutine was good but barely any curds. And then the beet salad barely had any beets! Server was nice though.

So good! Nice comfort food, and some adventurous food too. Love the clam chowder, Shepherd's pie, and the goat cheese salad.
