Fourteen courses of the most original dishes one can imagine: oysters, caviar, smoked trout, scallops, mackerel, pork belly, duck, cured meat, bison, edible helium balloon (no joke!) ... not to mention desserts. It is worth every penny! The food is like a piece of art on each and every plate. The combinations of food will send your taste pallet into ecstacy. Get the wine pairing too. While you are there get a tour of the kitchen.

The food served there is very unique, I don't know of anywhere else in Canada that gets even close. The first time that I was there, about 6 months ago, I was looking for a place that would offer molecular gastronomy and that was exactly what I got: every dish had a creative combination of textures with foams, powders, gels,... It's been a few years since we were last here. We loved the food and atmosphere then. As a special treat, we went back with friends to celebrate birthdays. Once again, they failed to disappoint. Marc and his staff have once again outdone themselves in coming up with new and innovative ways to excite your dining experience, present new combination... More

What a fabulous food adventure we just had down the rabbit hole! Amazing food combinations and creative presentation combined with the best ingredients resulted in a delicious experience! Bravo! Definitely for special occasions though, given the price tag :) Perhaps a more interesting decor would also liven the atmosphere .. Thumbs up

I reviewed Atelier back in 2011 and have been going to the restaurant a number of times since then, including being our go to place for our new years eve dinner. And so...time for a new review it is. Net: The dishes are incredibly inventive - hats off to Marc Lepine (Chef/Owner) and his team in the kitchen. Marc's also... More

Probably the best (and most expensive) meal I've had in a very long time. Each of the 12 courses was imaginative and pleasing to the eye and palate: some looked so nice it was a shame to eat them. The wine pairing was perfect for each course. Worth going at least once, more if you can afford it.

I had the very good fortune to enjoy an evening at this little 22 seat gem with some friends. The offering Is an 11 course tasting menu with optional beverage pairing (not every course was accompanied by wine). To add pictures would turn into a photo essay and I couldn't do justice to the meal with mere words. Suffice it... More

The basic atelier experience is a fixed menu, 12 course meal, with wine pairings for each plate. The food is prepared using a mix of traditional techniques with those of the molecular gastronomy at the style of elBulli. In our last visit, of the 12 plates, 4 were fantastic, 3 excellent and the rest very good, making it for a... More

I had been wanting to try this restaurant for quite a while. But something always happened. 2 friends and I finally went this October. It is true that the decor is lacking at first glance. The tables are close to each other, it is tiny and its not really decorated. But it is clean, and the chairs are comfortable. From... More
