All very ho-hum

This place is average in all categories of a sports bar -- food, service, selection, prices, atmosphere etc. There is really not much point in going, unless you are in the area and are stuck for a place nearby or you are happy with plain and boring. It's not bad or anything, but it's very... read more

I was over optimistic. It looked tired and run down, as did the apparent moral of the staff. The menu was interesting so I thought the food could be the surprise in this hip area of Ottawa. There was nothing that would have me return there due to the apparent lack of effort in cleaning, food presentation, taste and staff... More

We came late afternoon in need of home-cooked comfort food after a wake. We used to get it here, but not on this day. First thing we were told was that there was no ice. Second, I asked the server about the feature beer announced on the sandwich board; she replied "I don't drink beer", then after taking my order,... More

They have good beer but the food not so much. Three times now I've been disappointed. First occasion, I was served a salad with nearly rotten cucumbers, second time I was served fish and chips with a side of well beyond it's time creamy coleslaw (the mayo had turned a nasty shade of beige) and third (hopefully this time I'll... It's not bad or anything, but it's very ordinary at best.

Corner bar and grill in the Glebe used to be our favorite spot for a burger and beer where I would get the Latina burger ($11) and pint and always was satisfied and went back again. Recently there was a menu change and now, all the previous burger choices are gone, they sell the bare bone burger (burger, bun, tomato,... More

Regular pub fare, good, but nothing special. Was drawn in by the looks of the place, quaint little pub style. Menu is burgers, wings, mussels, pizza and sandwiches; nothing really stands out. Good, friendly, fast service. Decor/ambiance is good; booths, bigscreens. Honest place, but has little to offer in a crowded, competitive market.

After a long day of travel to Ottawa we decided to have a simple dinner at this cafe. It was almost empty when we came in (which we did not mind at all) and we ordered two burgers and a bowl of fries. The fries were very nice, the burgers just OK. The server was a very nice lady. Not... More

I went with a group of women friends. We chose this grill because it was new to the neighbourhood and we wanted to support a local business The place was empty, yet our table for six was right beside the front door. The food was awful, everything was laced with too much salt and pepper. I had a burger which... More

This restaurant is just down the street from my daughter's apartment, we've been in there for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night pints. I've never been disappointed with the service or my meal - it's all good! The choice of local micro-brewery beers is outstanding, great burgers and sandwiches, real hearty breakfast and all in the heart of the Glebe... More

We came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning and after looking at a number of other options, we chose this place as it had a good selection of breakfast options and weren't disappointed. Of the 4 people in our party, 2 had omelettes and 2 had eggs with ham, bacon and waffles. We all thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts: good... More
