Very relaxing and nice atmosphere on their patio at the rear of the building on a hot spring/summer day. Our server was cute, fun and a pleasure to deal with. Only problems, and we could have left because were warned, they only serve cheese, meat and pate (Charcuterie) between brunch and dinner. So when you have two hungry guys that... More

Have been meaning to try Murray Street for a long time but my wife isn't a big meat eater so it's been a tough sell. Luckily for me, our friends suggested it for brunch and it was a big hit - with both of us. The menu changes weekly so the menu online is really just a sample of the... More

We followed the trip and Ottawa food advisors and we really pleased with Murray Street. We had a patio table where you really felt like you are in someone's house, on the patio. The food and service was very good but rich. We simply ordered too many dishes and didn't have room for their dessert... I highly recommend this place... More

Had a great supper at Murray St. Been a while since we've been there but the food was as good as ever. Their charcuterie is unequalled in the city. Their steak frites was perfect. We also had an apple jelly-glazed corn dog that (like everything else) is made in-house - it was good and interesting, but I'd likely get the... More

Great location. Good atmosphere. This place has character and the service was excellent. The owner even came around to ensure the service met our needs.

At Byward Market, we really enjoyed the home made pulled pork taco and sausage sandwich (don't remember the names of these dishes). The portions were also very filling. If we had the time, we would have loved to try more of their home made meats. Next time!

We were visiting and wanted to eat and saw this place on a pamphlet and decided to go. Technically we needed a reservation but we were seated anyways. The menu was very interesting and it wasn't too complex, it is a charcuterie place after all, if you're wondering what that is then think of cured sausages and meats. That's not... More

This trendy spot located just off the Byward market serves up an interesting menu. My wife and I came here for lunch and shared the Charcuterie where you can choose 3 meats and 2 cheeses or vice versa from a list of around 10 selections each. The servings are all served up with elaborate sides and condiments for dipping and... More

We loved the charcuterie bar with home made meats, preserves and condiments. My wife particularly liked the beautifully perfumed apple jelly. Well balanced meaty flavours but even the vege options were yummy! Only down side was the flat and odd tasting Diet Coke from a dodgy dispenser. Lovely friendly service from front of houe otherwise.

What a nice surprise! It’s a bit pricey but excellent food and service. We love the mixture of German and local influences, great combination. Really good the Spaetzle Poutine & Crispy fried duck wings (OMG that sauce) are a must. Can’t wait to go back
