Yummy!!

Fantastic dinner find in Byward Market. We used Trip Advisor reviews to find this place! We were able to get a table on a Wednesday night. The blueberry wheat beer was great, but the Caesar with cheese whiz smeared celery wasn't spicy enough for our taste and a bit watery. The recommended Shiraz... read more

I literally went for shawarma after my meal here. The portions are tiny, huge price tag, and not really worth it. I left hungry and I couldn't justify blowing more money on overpriced small portions with turtle speed service. Also, something that really really grossed me out... I was watching the girl put together the cheese and meat boards and... More

Nice location. Great service. Friendly staff. Food mediocre. Price not worth your time. Had the BC octopus. Not edible. The "poutine" is not a poutine. The duck wings were decent. Bill with wine... $120. There are many other places worth trying.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and it was amazing! We had a long dinner and had a chance to have several dishes. The charcuterie board wad excellent and you have the option of building your own so it suits your tastes (have the smoked duck breast!). Next had smelts - perfectly breaded with nice house made tarter... More

Went to this restaurant last week on a visit to Ottawa with friends. The location is great and there was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. We ordered the roasted pork dish, it was served on a bed of barley with some added seasonings. It was delicious, but I thought it was overpriced at $28 for a soup bowl of... More

The review For several years, we have been making our way back to Ottawa, one our favourite cites in the world. There is so much to do, and so many pleasures to be found in the city. However, the Down Town, and Byword Market areas which continue to draw us back. The discovery of the “new", despite our visiting there... More

I've been here many times as I live just a few blocks away. Their charcuterie boards and reverence for whole animal practices keep me coming back. I've also enjoyed sitting on their gorgeous patio many times. I find the service a little standoffish at times and their menu has a distinct lack of vegetables and is seriously rich and heavy.... We went to this very popular restaurant for supper with friends. On previous visits both the food and service were very good. Unfortunately, most dishes we were served this time were very salty. It was a nice touch to have live music in the restaurant, but I feel sorry for duo playing in the corner: the noise level was such... More

we were visiting Ottawa for Canada Day and wanted to try it. At mid day we asked at the door if ok for children, they said yes. we asked for high chair for 20months old and they had one, we thought that was a good sign. Absolutely wrong. The lunch menu at 12:30 pm already have a number of items... More
