Fantastic

Great food - it was a duck night for us - and rabbit and wild boar and cheese. Of course the proscecco was fantastic with all the choices. Great outdoor patio area for sitting the decor is very nice. The charcuterie board is a fantastic choice you could start with two small dishes and then have a... read more

we were visiting Ottawa for Canada Day and wanted to try it. At mid day we asked at the door if ok for children, they said yes. we asked for high chair for 20months old and they had one, we thought that was a good sign. Absolutely wrong. The lunch menu at 12:30 pm already have a number of items... More

We went here for lunch today and I was very impressed. Food is outstanding. If you enjoy your meats, this is the place to be. We are already thinking of when we can come back, and ultimately one day have the hog special! Don't hesitate. Eat here.

What a fantastic experience! Went last night with friends, had an exceptional experience! The service was cool, casual and attentive. The look is very relaxed, great outside back deck. Started with the special "duck wings", super good!! Then the asparagus dip with home made crackers, and duck poutine! The charcuterie choices where stellar. Restaurants in market seem hit or miss,... Look for the M - Murray Street Bistro as well as mmm. perhaps not so much for vegetarians! I recommend this restaurant for lunch on a sunny day. The patio is private - a little oasis in the city. The service is attentive. The duck confit with gnocchi is yummy and the charcuterie/cheese plate can be as big as you... More

I was a little tentative about this restaurant, with the heavy emphasis on pork but I was not disappointed. The têtes de violon was spectacular--never did fiddleheads taste so good! And although I was full from the main course, I sampled some of the S'mores for dessert, and regretted not ordering it! The menu changes frequently (I was told) but... More

Many pubs around and all are fun places, Murray Street is fun, staff great. Food above average, try the Fat Fries! And 2 in the party had Gnocchi and they loved it.

We went to Murray Street for the first time for brunch. I'm pretty sure everyone ordered the corn beef hash with bone marrow hollandaise. It was extremely tasty, but so so rich I remember not being able to finish it. It was a great brunch for something a little out of the ordinary, although we ordered brea to share, which... More

Six of us for lunch on Race Weekend. Not accommodating to vegan requests. I actually sent them an e-mail on their website one week before, inquiring about vegan options. I'm still awaiting a reply. If you're not going to monitor and respond to e-mails, please don't offer the service ! One of us were charged $9.00 for a small, simple... More

Could be fabulous, and seems like many people have really liked the experience. However, in our group of four the starters were only so-so (smelts, perogies and poutine). The earlier charcuterie was better, but when the main courses came it was again quite disappointing. The pork was highly over-salty, and undistinguished, and served with cold gnocchi. The vegetarian dish was... More
