My husband and I decided to try this restaurant in our first evening in Ottawa. We was not disappointed! Food was outstanding, fresh, nicely prepared with rich flavours. I had "Andy's tomatoes " as a starter, that was nice summer dish, and an ox tongue, as a main course and it was delicious. Portions are reasonable. The meny is not... More

Two of us arrived 6pm Friday with no reservation. Asked if we would be done by 8 as the table was reserved then, we said no problem. We were quickly seated and our drinks brought. Nice cold beer. In good time our cheese and meat platter arrived. It was wonderful, intriguing jellies, pate, and milk pods! Loved it. Barely half... More

Flashes of Lord of the Flies when my table was located under a metal boar's head sculpture! This place oozes cool vibe. Interesting local sourced menu. Lots of pork;) Great waitresses . Attentive, knowledgable but not the least bit intrusive.

We went to this restaurant based on its location near the National Gallery and the good TripAdvisor rating and were not disappointed. The small plate starter we tried was the Barbeque Things which were duck wings that day. They were awesome. I wasn't going to try it but the waiter recommended it after I hesitated and I don't regret it.... More

The décor was excellent. Loved the Star War theme. Good location in the Little Italy. Food was very good quality and fresh. Menu was original and high quality. Service was average, but keep in mind that they are young and can only get better with experience.

This is my second time eating here while visiting Ottawa. They do not have an extensive menu but we shared a small, medium and large plate between two of us and had room for dessert. Delicious cold mussel and potato salad with lovely tiny cornichons, then trout followed by duck - all excellent. Our server was charming, paced the meal... More

We had a disappointing experience here for Sunday brunch. Service was painfully slow even though the restaurant had numerous empty tables. They do have a patio so perhaps that was busy? It was so bad that customers around us could also be heard grumbling about the wait. The servers were friendly enough and they did acknowledge the delay. The food... More

I jsut went to Murray Street this weekend for Sunday brunch with my 5 yo daughter. Not a picky kids (likes sushi) but we decided the baked beans, ham and fried egg would be best for her. When asked if we could replace the fried egg with scrambled the chef said, "No!" Couldn't beleive it. The waitress was mortified. She... More

I LOVE this place. I've ate here many times! Anytime someone is looking for something special, or different I always suggest Murray Street. I am a sucker for Charcuterie plates, and I love that I can come in and really pick what I love. All the pickled veggies are amazing and their sauces (my favourite is their Dijon) always compliments... More

Called in here for Charcuterie and drinks mid-afternoon while walking back from the Canadian Museum of Civilisation. While we can’t vouch for the rest of the Menu we really enjoyed what we had, Matron coming close to drooling over the Wild Boar Rillettes and Goat’s Cheese. Decent beer and Matron also v enthusiastic about a Niagara Sparkling White, a couple... More
