travelling to ottawa you have to have beavertails. Fried bread with sugar what could be bad about that.... Price is ok - $5+ depending on the toppings you want. But fresh made. Little kiosk not too much outdoor sitting but great to try. You likely will buy another!

Had the banana Nutella and classic with lemon. Tastes so good when its warm. It's usually crowded but service is quick. The ice cream place next door is also yummy. The kids love this treat.

We went here on a hot hot summer day, and let the kids each pick out their own beaver tail. Everyone got a different flavor. I had the chocolate banana one, and it was delicious. My kids were literally covered in melted chocolate though. It was fun and a very "Canadian" way to finish out our vacation. The area around... More

Service was quick and the staff were cheerful. Worth a walk from a hotel. Not for the healthy diet conscious types. Five out of four bears recommend eating beavertails!

Tasty delight.you can go simple with just cinnamon or have stor chocolate...you have choices. Line up moves fast and seating is limited but most people consume fast and move on or just... More

I have never had a beaver tail and now that I have I am glad there isn't one close to where I live or I would be tempted to eat one every day. I had the chocolate banana but frankly it was hard to decide. Make sure you have one if you are in the Ottawa area.

A little overpriced and over-hyped, but if one has a 'thing' for donuts, one of these, shared, is a 'must'. It took both my husband and me back to being kids and having mom fix cinnamon toast. Didn't hurt to find that Obama was REALLY searching for THIS place when he was here with his daughters one recent winter.

Be prepared to line up at this location depending on the time of day. The staff here are friendly and efficient and the ' treat ' was how I remembered it . Word of caution , this is best eaten fresh as saving it proved to be less enjoyable .
