MMMMMmmmmmm

My wife and I stopped in for a couple scones and coffee. The aroma when you walk in is excellent! The scones were terrific and they have really good coffee too. If we had discovered it earlier in our stay they would have gotten more business!! They have sandwiches and other things too. Worth... read more

Delicious scones! Creative sandwiches! Visited with my husband and daughter, they didn't have a highchair, but the food made up for it! Grabbing a dozen on the way back to Toronto!

It was fine. A bit overpriced, a bit under-flavored. My husband and I went out of the way to try this place, and it just didn't fit the bill. There was nothing particularly bad about it; it just wasn't what I wanted it to be as a price/flavor/location combo. Too much money too far out of the way for too... More

My daughter and I stopped in to grab a scone and tea. We loved the scones! They are crazy busy at lunch time, but if you wait until after 3pm, things slow down and service improves. I would recommend that they work on the layout. There are two ways to enter. If you come in through the street entrance it... More

Ok, the scone idea is cute and the sandwiches are tasty but this is so far from fine dining the reviews astound me. Food; Above Average for fast food, Décor; Poor, Service; Terrible, Crowds; Be prepared to fight the diaper and stroller set for a seat. (Yes I really did see a diaper on the table here). Noise Level; Way... More

The scone witch has been my favourite breakfast and lunch( brunch) place in Ottawa. I would go everytime I came when it was located next to the Radisson. Now that it has moved locations it's a little harder to get to... But worth the taxi ride The food, coffee and staff are Amazing!!!! I love the choice of sweet or... More

We ate here for first time. I would go again, but only for a snack of scones and tea which were tasty and a good price. We found the breakfast overpriced for what we got. The "eggwitch" scone, eggs, ham bits and fruit wasn't bad for 6.95. However I ordered the brunch which was scrambled eggs, 1 piece of ham,... More

Loved this place. Read a review so we went for breakfast. Everything was fresh and warm and super yummy. I'm not a huge scone fan in general, but it was so flaky and warm I loved it. And with eggs and some fresh jam it was so good it convinced us to go back for breakfast the second day too.... More

This is one of my new must stops in Ottawa. The menu choices are varied and the prices reasonable. The preserves and menu items are all hand crafted and served quickly. The location is a little off the beaten track but if you take the side street off of Elgin you will not be disappointed in your breakfast /brunch choice.... More

Decided to try the Scone Witch for lunch with a colleague. Had the tuna and tomato with black olive tapenade on a feta scone, with salad. The whole meal was delicious - fresh and so flavourful. The scone was to die for. My colleague had the goat cheese and tomato on the herb scone, with salad, which was also very... More
