If you are craving for authentic Indian food with every spoonful of flavours, this is the right place! They have a large menu which is not very typical, and they offer each dish in different levels of spice (mild, medium, hot). Went in for dinner and we had butter chicken and the food was average and the price was a little bit high for what we got. Dinner for two with two dishes and an appetizer was $50. Service was very good though and the place was clean and lots of people in there.

We have had lunch at Spicy Affairs many times and always have been pleased with the food and service. The servers are friendly, and for patrons who are not very familiar with Indian cuisine they are very helpful. The lunch menu includes five different wraps at $6 and $7 (such as chicken tikka) each served with sautéed tomatoes, peppers and... More

Don't let appearances fool you, the place looks a little divey but the food is amazing. If you like Indian food you for sure won't be disappointed.

Best biryani I've ever had. My girlfriend raved about her butter chicken, although I found it a little too sweet. Friendly staff. Answered questions well. Good prices. Healthy portions. We had take out but the restaurant looked nice. Almost forgot, the best naan bread we have ever eaten too.

This is my go to for quick and easy takeout when I just don't feel like eating out but can't bring myself to cook. The menu has a good variety, food is flavourful and portions are decent. Some Indian food can get quite greasy and processed feeling but they manage to avoid that here. Prices are reasonable. Staff are friendly.... More

Having eaten here a number of times for a quick lunch while in downtown 'Shwa, this is clearly one of the better places to eat. The lunch menu offers plates and wraps of many of their signature dishes, such as the ever popular Butter Chicken, Seekh Kebabs, Chicken Tikka Masala, etc., as well as vegetarian dishes (I especially like the... A wonderful restaurant that captures all your senses. Our meal was wonderful and the guided choices suggested by our server gave us a take away bag. Great for lunch the next day. I couldn't stop talking about Spicy Affairs and several friends have been now and love it too. We are looking forward to our next visit to try something... More

I've only been to this modest, little restaurant in Oshawa a few times. But it is always pretty good. The vegetable pakoras with chutney are a meal, in and of themselves. The chutneys are amazing, btw. My husband usually orders a mango lassi, and they do a really nice job. (I've had some disappointing mango lassis, over the years.) Food... More

We have eaten twice at Spicy Affairs and look forward to our next visit. Each dish is carefully prepared and the presentation is always pleasing. Be sure to ask about how spicy dishes are, especially if you have low tolerance for curry and other spices such as turmeric.
