A great Bronte find...

One of the nice things about "A Taste of Oakville" is trying a restaurant you haven't been to before. A chilly January Friday evening found us at a window seat watching the snow fall as we warmed up with the best French Onion soup we had in a very long time. Followed by a Normande Crêpe and Odéon... read more

Easy walk from the "Shores" condominum.ONe can actually hear and sepak to one another without the interference of loudn noise, loud patrons and loud music. Great little parisienne (french) creperie restaurant. Second generation family run..this little secret is an excellent spot to have a delicious homemade french onion soup, salads and savoury and sweet crepes. The seafood crepe was chock... More

I love this restaurant in Bronte. So quaint, the best crepes I have had world wide. Everything comes in a crepe, even a cheeseburger. It's best to go when you have time to sit and relax, as everything is made from scratch, definitely not 'fast food' or mass produced. The wine list is great and beer too. Great for Valentine's... Lunch today confirmed yet again why this is one of our favorite small restaurants. Located a few steps from the truly delightful harbour in Old Bronte village on the shores of Lake Ontario, the La Parisienne Creperie has long been known for its savoury and dessert crepes. On this visit my partner enjoyed a "bacon, mushroom and salad" crepe (better... More

After a nice walk along the harbour we stopped in for lunch. What a pleasant surprise. My wife ordered the ham, cheese and salad crepe. It came as a whole wheat crepe with the salad on the ham and cheese surrounded by the crepe. The shallot cream dressing was very tasty. I ordered the ham, cheese and mushroom crepe. The... More

The food was delicious and Parisian. However the Waiter was a little abrupt and he asked and elderly to depart from the restaurant which wasn't necessary. Not good customer service but amazing food.

We decided to try this place with Mother-in-Law, who at 91 has decided tastes in food. Charmante! The host and hostess are most obliging, the surroundings are home-like and pleasant (including the Parisian music, with Edith Piaf prominent), and the crepes are splendid. We will most certainly be back, and we dare not come back without Mother. Access to the... More

It may not be the quickest dinner you have ever had or not the fanciest restaurant but when you go to Parisienne Creperie you are in for a treat. It is like being transported to a small Creperie in Paris. Portions are perfect, and the Crepes are out of this world. The lovely couple that own it are so gracious... More

The cutest little French couple runs the restaurant, and they were quite loving to my teenage son. Food was wonderful; tastes great and good quality ingredients. You can tell everything is homemade. Be patient, like in France they want you to savour the experience. We will be going back, but probably not too often. I thought our meal was quite... More
