Excellent view of the lake from this freindly restaurant with good food. Recommended for business dinner, couples and freinds. Good value for the money.

Decent food, good service, overlooking Trout Lake. A bit out of the way, but worth the drive. A nice place for lunch, and also to relax at the end of the work day.

Have been many times. Highly recommended. Good food variety. Great atmosphere with the view of Trout lake .Bonus are Wednesday nights with live jazz band.

Very nice scenery, but unfortunately the name says it all when it comes to the food - average. Will continue to bring visitors here, but only for the view.

When I first moved to North bay we ate at Average Joe's and the food was amazing. When I ate there again about 2 years later, for a lunch with my boyfriend I found it over-priced and didn't have the same food quality as before. I will not eat there again.

We went for dinner after cross country skiing and while the food was okay, both the (wintry) view out the large windows and the service were great. The restaurant has a range of options available at all price points, with the majority of main items being around $20. Food arrived quickly, and service was efficient.

The food is fantastic. We sat outside on the deck and watched the activity on the water. Service was prompt, food was hot and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Average Joe's in no way average! It's our "go-to" restaurant when visiting North Bay. Favourites include coconut shrimp appetizer and prime rib dinner. Go hungry. Portions are very large. Prime rib runs about $25. Wine bottle prices 20-30$. Had pickerel once, tasty but too much breading for my preference. Make reservations for sure. James and team never disappoint.
