Great no fuss establishment

I have been here twice now for pizza. They are absolutely delicious fresh pizzas with local ingredients. The service is efficient and... somewhat friendly. They offer local brews and wine as well for decent by the glass prices. Their pizza specials are creative and delish.

We stopped at this cute kitschy place for lunch on our way back from Niagara on the lake and were really happy we did. We had the meat pie, which was really amazing with the meat being so tender and the pastry perfectly baked; and the pear and Brie sandwich, which was pretty good too. Maybe just a bit too... More

Seasonal home made pies whatever fruit is in localy. Most press are sold out by lunch time especially on the weekend. Best to phone and reserve. Currently moving the pie counter to the side of the building, so the rest will be a bar area and restaurant/cafe.Try the carrot cake if there is any left. Silversmiths beer on tap from... More

We were half an hour early for our appointment and hence decided to grab a small savoury bite at pie plate at 3:05pm, the man behind the counter explained that the kitchen is closed between 3-4 and they were making changes in the store and directed us to the new "bake shop" where he said they had quiches and pies,... I like my pies to be filled with apples - real apples that taste like apples, not some syrupy version of apple with sugar. Both the crumble and pie did not disappoint. Although slightly on the pricey end (small 3" crumble $4.50, large 8" pie $17.00), they were definitely worth it. I bought 2 pies...and no they were not for... More

Have been here too many times to count. Amazing spot for lunch, I often go for the turkey avocado sandwich on fresh baguette or the pear and blue cheese pizza. Their pies are phenomenal and great holiday treats. Amazing, super friendly service no matter how busy they are. Not a bad thing to say about this fantastic spot.

Gotten takeout pies from here several times, finally ate Iunch here last winter. The soup and pizza we had was very flavorful, as was the beer from Silversmith Brewery (right across the street). Definitely our favourite place to eat in the NOTL area.

We stopped by pie plate for a quick bite on our return from Whirlpool Jet Boat tour. We ordered pizza, salads and off course the pies. The food was amazing and deserves a 5 rating but the service wasn't that good. There was lot of confusion in terms of should you wait to be seated, order food at the counter... More

On looking at the photos offered, I sure would have liked to eat at THAT restaurant. Sunday afternoon, before 1:00 p.m., and only one other couple in there, so they were not rushed. Small selection, high price. For dessert, you order at the counter, they give it to you, and go and sit down. Cramped and music is too loud.... More
