Description: Hillebrand Winery Restaurant celebrates the relationship between our land, our people, our wines and our food. Chef Frank Dodd showcases locally inspired cuisine made with ingredients from the bounty of Niagara Wine Country, and Winemaker Craig McDonald pairs them with wines made from grapes that grow in the same soil. Extend your stay in Wine Country, and allow us to arrange a private tasting in our Collector's Boutique or another Winery Experience prior to your meal.

Our friends and I have eaten at this restaurant several times in the past and enjoyed the meal and experience. Everyone in our group ordered the $75 tasting menu, and the appetizers were very good, however the main dish beef Wellington was horrible...dry, tough, and bland. We explained this to the staff. We all expected a good will gesture such... More

We went here for lunch on 15 September. The dining-room is very pleasant and the service was quite good. We wanted just a light lunch so we each had corn chowder soup ($10), dessert ($10), a glass of wine ($8) and coffee ($3:50) which, after adding 13% tax came to $71.19. The presentation was very elegant but the corn chowder... More

We were very disappointed in our meal at Trius. We had heard wonderful things about this restaurant and have dined at other high end restaurants in the Niagara region. The meal was substandard; the Wellington beef poorly cooked and tough, the portions woefully lacking and wildly over priced. Our server was inattentive and inconsistent. The only thing we appreciated that... More

Our six quests arrived to enjoy the atmosphere, wine and food but in no rush to leave. Excellent wine, Trius Red, and the appetizers and main course had there plus and minus. Some of our friends order just two appetizers, the romaine salad and fish and chips. Yes appetizers. Others had just the main course, we had rib eye steak... More

A beautiful weekend enjoyed!! My husband and I have had the chance this summer of finally enjoying wine country both with friends and family! Trius was a beautiful property full of charm and information for wine lovers. We had previously enjoyed a very informative tour and saw massive wine production compared to other wineries. After a great first experience we... More

The scenic outdoor patio was very tranquil and like a secret spot. The server was so friendly . We had the lobster romaine salad which was a delicious mix of flavors from the prosciutto and corn to the lobster and peaches. We also had the Ontario lamb sirloin with pastrami lamb sausage and deconstructed mushroom ravioli with ice wine onion... More

We travelled in from Calgary on the September long weekend and met our daughter and her friend at Trius Winery Restaurant for her birthday celebration. Everything from the moment we arrived was perfect, even though the other couple was a ½ hour late due to Toronto traffic! The menu was thoroughly explained to us by the waiter, Chris, who also... My bf and I know nothing about wine and this tour really opened us up to trying different wines and learning the entire process on wine making! I'm so happy we did this tour. The ice wine was our favourite! I could so go for another glass right now lol. An hour well spent!

We decided we did not have enough time for the Full menu at the restaurant, so we ate outdoors on a lovely hot day at the Grill. Only four choices on the menu, chicken burger lobster and cheese plate. We tried the first three with some wine. The portions are very delicate, all served with about 8 fries. I had... More

Ate lunch here on a nice breezy summer afternoon... Service was attentive... I had a walnut salad and my wife the corn soup.. Delicious. This was a price fix menu with 3 courses. Included a glass of champagne. Main course was a maple brined pork chop and lobster quiche....the pork chop was a work of art...almost could not eat it...it... More
