Description: Hillebrand Winery Restaurant celebrates the relationship between our land, our people, our wines and our food. Chef Frank Dodd showcases locally inspired cuisine made with ingredients from the bounty of Niagara Wine Country, and Winemaker Craig McDonald pairs them with wines made from grapes that grow in the same soil. Extend your stay in Wine Country, and allow us to arrange a private tasting in our Collector's Boutique or another Winery Experience prior to your meal.

We ate here during the icewine festival. The restaurant was very pretty inside, and had nice windows overlooking the vineyard. We were a little early, so they offered to let us sit at our table (the restaurant didn't technically open until our reservation time) or offered us free tasting coupons. We did a tasting then came back and had an... More

I had high expectations going into our dinner at Trius, given the very positive reviews on TripAdvisor and other websites. The soup was flavourful but lukewarm. We shared the charcuterie board, which had some very interesting meats but was very small portion size, and did not come with crackers or anything to eat the meats with, which seemed odd. Also... Best food ever. Rack of lamb to die for. Highly recommend pumpkin soup, too. Suggested wine pairings were very helpful. Attentive and informed wait staff. Great ambiance.

Our day started with a tasting of 10 Trius wines ranging from the very wonderful and surprising Wild Ferment Sauvignon Blanc to the Grand Red with its rich, velvety feel on the palette and long finish. Trius winery restaurant last lunch reservation is around 2:30. We were immediately seated at a table near the picture window overlooking the vineyard. Fabulicious... More

We stopped primarily for the wine tasting; however, decided to grab a quick lunch. We ordered the fish and chips for lunch and while our friends' fish seemed to be perfectly cooked; the batter on our fish was over cooked which gave it a burned taste and it was extremely flakey. As the chef, I would never send out one... More

We decided to try Trius Winery Restaurant because the restaurants we were interested in had already closed for the season. They have two pre-planned menus which was interesting, and if you don't like something from one menu, but you do for another, they won't exchange it, but if you're with people who are willing to exchange, then really not a... My husband and I had a wonderful lunch. The pumpkin soup was delicious and attractively presented. The wine that was paired with the soup was their Riesling and I'd highly recommend it - very well priced. The goat cheese croquettes were again beautifully presented and flavourful. My husband had the artisan cheese plate, his favourite being the riopelle - so... More

Fabulicious is a great time to experience new restaurants! The food was excellent. We ordered the maple butternut squash soup, the trout and lobster macaroni and cheese, the beef rib eye, and apple pie. The soup was not hot at all, although it had exceptional flavor. The portion size was perfect. The option to pair the wines provides the diner... More
