Description: Hillebrand Winery Restaurant celebrates the relationship between our land, our people, our wines and our food. Chef Frank Dodd showcases locally inspired cuisine made with ingredients from the bounty of Niagara Wine Country, and Winemaker Craig McDonald pairs them with wines made from grapes that grow in the same soil. Extend your stay in Wine Country, and allow us to arrange a private tasting in our Collector's Boutique or another Winery Experience prior to your meal.

Our day started with a tasting of 10 Trius wines ranging from the very wonderful and surprising Wild Ferment Sauvignon Blanc to the Grand Red with its rich, velvety feel on the palette and long finish. Trius winery restaurant last lunch reservation is around 2:30. We were immediately seated at a table near the picture window overlooking the vineyard. Fabulicious... More

We stopped primarily for the wine tasting; however, decided to grab a quick lunch. We ordered the fish and chips for lunch and while our friends' fish seemed to be perfectly cooked; the batter on our fish was over cooked which gave it a burned taste and it was extremely flakey. As the chef, I would never send out one... More

We decided to try Trius Winery Restaurant because the restaurants we were interested in had already closed for the season. They have two pre-planned menus which was interesting, and if you don't like something from one menu, but you do for another, they won't exchange it, but if you're with people who are willing to exchange, then really not a... My husband and I had a wonderful lunch. The pumpkin soup was delicious and attractively presented. The wine that was paired with the soup was their Riesling and I'd highly recommend it - very well priced. The goat cheese croquettes were again beautifully presented and flavourful. My husband had the artisan cheese plate, his favourite being the riopelle - so... More

Such a lovely restaurant in an amazing setting. There menu is full of delicious choices. Our server was very attentive, and very helpful, especially with the gf choices. He took this issue very seriously. We enjoyed a lovely lunch, and one day, hope to return for an amazing dinner! Definitely check this place out if you are wanting to dine... More

Fabulicious is a great time to experience new restaurants! The food was excellent. We ordered the maple butternut squash soup, the trout and lobster macaroni and cheese, the beef rib eye, and apple pie. The soup was not hot at all, although it had exceptional flavor. The portion size was perfect. The option to pair the wines provides the diner... More

We stopped here for lunch while self touring some of the wineries in the area. While the Trius wines are not my favourites, the winery is one of the best in the area, and this extends to their restaurant. The prices are a little high but the food is excellent. The staff are helpful and skilled.

It’s been ages since we had a chance to eat here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Did their 5 course tasting menu. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and they poured very generous glasses for the wine matching. Next time I would just order three courses as the portions are extremely generous, but if you are a hardy eater the tasting... More

Went on a winery tour which was conducted by "Dan" who was an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide. Then had lunch in the restaurant, while the decor is nice but simple the food definitely makes up for it. I had the Cinderella Pumpkin Soup which was delicious and I loved how it was served. Then I had the Maple Brined... More

We dined here with two other couples, could not get a reservation until 8:30 in the evening on a Saturday night. My first recommendation would be to call a week ahead at least to get a lunch or dinner reservation. Our waiter was great, he was so attentive and was very patient with all the questions I had about the... More
