Quaint place to pick up food

If you are looking for baked goods or a tasty soup - poke your head in! It's located right smack dab in the middle of Queen Street (the main strip) - so perfectly located if on a walk.

We enjoyed 3 cheese quiche along with generous side salad. Atmosphere is relaxed as you pour your own coffee & bring your menu choices to the table. Friendly counter staff & pleasant main street views enhance your dining experience. Lots of baked goods, desserts etc. for a sweet tooth.

We visited here on a recommendation from our hotel staff, The food was nice, we both had a steak, cooked to perfection! Staff were fantastic! Nice stroll down the main street after dinner I would return here.

Stopped by for a quick lunch on Friday April 10th after getting a few recommendations from some local establishments. Bad choice. Firstly, the food was mediocre, at best. I had two gourmet salads, which were not very good and annoyingly were served on top of a large leaf of lettuce which made it difficult to eat the salads. My partner... More

My wife and I ate at here this past weekend and we had a delightful meal! The steak and everything else was on-point and best of all it was very moderately priced.

This restaurant has always had great food and they are attracting new and loyal customers back with weekly special menus featuring menus from Provinces and countries from around the world. For instance this coming week's menu is built around a "Brazil" theme. The food quality is excellent with Executive Chef Peter Brittain, overly seeing his staff and if you are... More

We dined at The Epicurean last night as part of the fabulicious campaign. The food was incredible! I started with oysters and pearls as the first course and knew after that, that we were in for a treat. I continued with the seafood theme with a main course consisting of scallops jumbo shrimp and mussels. The scallops were the most... More

Epicurean Fine Foods offers up a unique menu with quality ingredients to back up their menu. I really enjoyed my grille pulled pork sandwich. It was done in the same manner as a Primanti, with a delicious coleslaw and provolone! The smoked turkey soup was really hearty and nice. The chicken soup was on the blander side soup, just missing... More

Stopped by for a quick lunch on the day of Santa Claus parade. It seemed like everyone working was outside and only interested in selling coffee and cookies to parade spectators streetside, rather than helping lunch patrons. All of the tables were covered in crumbs, dirty napkins and dishes. Once we finally got our food, we cleared our own table,... More

This was a very unexpected surprise. We attended a 5 course tasting menu. Chef Brittain spoke to the diners and answered questions on his choices including lobster orzo, quail, duck, short ribs (to die for). Each dish was well presented and complex. The server was delightful. The presentations by owner and wine maker of Between the Lines winery was educational... More
