Breakfast

I only had the opportunity to eat the complimentary breakfast at the Inn, but it exceeded my expectations, had a great ambience.

Came to have a celebratory birthday lunch today at the Oban Inn. Had reservations, but for much of the time we were the only ones in the dining room (only 4 total in the dining room in the 2 hours we were there). Nice window table in the atrium - no cold blasts of air from outside. Our server was... More

Treated myself and my father to a holiday meal at one of the NOTL landmark properties. Greeted by the general manager of the property and seated by the window. Given the wine list as well as specials by her. Started with crab cakes and shrimp and followed with striploin. Paired with a Beamsville Bench red wine - check out the... More

We recently dined at the Oban Inn for a special evening. The food and wine were all very good and priced accordingly. The service, provided by Kate, was excellent and she is a credit to the Inn. The only thing we did not like was that, since renovation, the Oban has lost its charm and, from the inside is much... More

During the 60's and 70's the Oban was tanamount to the "club" for the locals. Unfortunately the hotel and restaurant were totally destroyed by fire and then rebuilt and assumed by new management. Gone was that "special place" and a new elegance took over. Most locals feel uncomfortable there. We had a special and wonderful experience there last evening and... More

We were staying at the Oban Inn and from many restaurants, we selected the Inn to eat at on both nights of our 2 night stay. The meals were terrific and the price good to high but the food was worth it. I had the Tuna each night. The service was terrific. On one evening, there was only one server... More

This was our 5th time staying at the Inn but, on my wife's urging, our 1st dining experience. Will be the last. Service was OK but seemed a bit rushed. Very limited menu (5 items + 1 feature). I chose the quail off the menu - OK but come on - let's use some creativity. Wife had duck breast feature... More

I stayed at the Inn so having dinner there was super convenient. It was pretty good and surprisingly busy.
