We had heard wonderful things about this restaurant so we were excited to try it out. Unfortunately it did not live up to our expectations. If you are looking for a good meal at a reasonable price this is not the place for you. Four of us had the filet, it was good but not great.. One member of our... More

Excellent location, gardens, food and service. Such a pretty garden. My salad was wonderful. We visited on a sunny July 16, 2014 weekday.

We were staying at the Inn and had booked dinner for our first night. It was very quiet - only one other table occupied - perhaps an indication of what was to come. The service was adequate, but not especially attentive, knowledgeable or friendly. Our appetizers were both bland to the point of tasteless - the bouillabaisse and the "Waldorf"... More

the massages me and my fiance both had were nice, but compared to the other (many) spa offerings around I was surprised about the lack of amenities - actually, none besides a steam room. The steam room itself smelled very dank and the steam pipe made some rickity sounds whenever it blasted some steam. The mens showers had two 'stalls'... More

Beautiful Inn - close to the water's edge and away from the busy tourist main street. Gorgeous flower garden and very pretty entrance into spa. Free parking on site. Visited over July 4th weekend for an early dinner. For the higher price, and upscale ambience, the service for us was very low. We left wishing we had eaten elsewhere although... More

The meal was average and the wines over priced. The waitress was excellent. All but one person was disappointed with their meal.

Take the time to walk two whole extra blocks away from the madding crowds along Queen Street in Niagara-on-the-Lake, and enjoy the relative quiet and genteel atmosphere of lunch at the Oban Inn. Our lunch was expensive, but the quality was reflected in the price. Crab cakes that were mostly crab, club sandwiches each big enough for two, and a... More

Very relaxing Spa music playing in waiting lounge in your Spa robe where special herbal teas and bottled water are provided. I had a mini massage on back and shoulders by a registered Masseuse. It was wonderful and fixed up all pain from long train and bus rides. There's a very enjoyable steam room, so bring your bathing suit. The corner... More

Had 5 meals here during our stay at the Oban Inn. 2 breakfasts, 2 dinners and a lunch. Every one was delicious and the presentation was great. Would highly recommend this restaurant for any meal of the day. Servers were prompt, professional and yet friendly and helpful.

Four of us dined at the Restaurant Oban Inn during Fabulicious. Although my husband and I had a bad experience there two years ago, we decided to give it a second chance. Big mistake! Although the service was good, the food was mediocre. The amuse bouche gave us our first indicator that the food experience might be lacking. It certainly... More
