First time in Canada and the first time in Niagara On The Lake, and we find this really lovely Café & Wine Bar. What first attracted us to this place, was the lovely flower displays outside, it looked so inviting. We actually went there twice for lunch as the food was so good and the staff really lovely and friendly.... More

On Sept 5th, four of us decided to stop and try the food at this restaurant. Two of us ordered the fish and chips and two of us had the half chicken dinner. The fish was BURNED black and the fries were shriveled and cold. The chicken was also burned to the point that we could not eat the majority... More

Nice to look at but that's it, food combination not very appealing. Chicken and fish and chips where over cooked and burnt. Not oly ours but I saw several orders going to other tables that looked similar. Facilities were dirty and old. Would not commend.

Had the pasta and a great glass of wine at lunch and loved the atmosphere - quaint and cozy. Eveyone loved this place as the food was delicious and the service outstanding.

This is the second time we have been here so it must be ok or we wouldnt return. The location is paramount and the decor is very nice outside with all the flowers and patio setup. The food is pretty good but nothing crazy. The falafel pita is very good however all the food is overpriced due to the fact... More

Start from the good points. ..We (a group of 8) had a lunch here and the food was pleasant itself, meat cooked well and fish & chips was nice. I liked the fact that they were open all day and they were offering one menu for both lunch and dinner. This place needs a face lift and before this it... More

There are two patios, one down and one up. We ate outside, we love to eat outside, fairly late in the evening. Stunning gorgeous flowers cascading all over the railing and balcony. Food was very good, though the sangria we thought was only average.

Three of us walked in without a reservation for dinner. Because of this the host wouldn't let us sit upstairs as he said it was book yet it never filled up while we were there. Waiter was good. Food was great. Service was very slow but when the food finally came it would have been hard to improve upon. My... More

My husband and I had lunch at Shaw's and it was very nice. First of all, in my opinion, Shaw's is the most eye-catching restaurant on Queen Street, with its second story patio adorned with such beautiful flowers. We wanted to eat upstairs, but unfortunately it was all full. We settled for the patio on the main floor, and it... More

You are greeted by a statue of George Bernard Shaw and of course friendly waiters. Superb food and great service you will find in the midst of the cutest town imaginable. Set on Main Street of Niagara on the Lake, there are colourful baskets of flowers and outdoor seating for people who literally come from all over the globe. Try... More
