Everything is prepared beautifully. Spring rolls were excellent and I loved the coconut curry! Service was efficient but not overbearing.

We had the privilege of staying at the Orchid Inn in which the Ginger Restaurant is located. Cindy and her sons make an excellent meal. There were eight in our party with eight different menu choices. Everyone raved about their food. And, of course, we had great wine with our dinners. We could see why the Ginger Restaurant is a... Great little find, the food has a twist on asian cuisine mixed with european. Good service and portion sizes were of european size rather than american.

On our annual trip to the Shaw Festival with three other couples we wanted something different and reasonably priced. Ginger fit the bill. It is a nice, casual relaxing room. Food across the board was very good. Service was attentive but not intrusive. We all agreed that we would return.

We stayed at Orchid Inn, in Niagara on the Lake for 2 days. The Inn was fabulous with the Best breakfast that I have ever had which is included in the price. We had dinner which was excellent both nights. The food is fresh, reasonable priced and much cheaper and better quality compared to restaurants right on the main street... More

We wanted something a bit different after several gastropub experiences. Ginger is an unassuming restaurant in terms of decor. The menu is quite interesting. I had the cold soba salad and sirloin with szechuan peppercorn. I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't much sauce -- would have been nice if there was more in a small jug to accompany... More

This is a small restaurant but holds it's own in the food world. The food is fantastic and the service is friendly. It's a little out of the downtown area but well worth the drive if you have the chance. Best scallops I've ever had and the curry was fantastic as well.

We had dinner in this place, restaurant was packed on a hot Saturday night. We had a reservation, so no problem for group of 12. Food is very good, good atmosphere. Owner is very friendly. We had a great time, will go back again.

Visited last fall and came again this spring. Had the fresh Ontario pickeral (sp?) again and it was delicious. Also spring rolls. My husband had the thai curry with coconut and it was great. The service is always good. Not open on Mondays.

Niagara-on-the-Lake always makes a nice little getaway and dinning at Ginger was a sumptuous highlight. This restaurant, located on Mary St & Nassau St. is removed from (but near) the busy strip and perhaps of a higher quality just because it is not right in the tourist trap. My husband and I started with the the clams (in a coconut,... More
