Lovely dinner, great service

Fresh, imaginative Asian-influenced cooking. This restaurant is family owned and operated, so the service is caring and knowledgeable. Absolutely no pretensions, just very good food at attractive prices.

Excellent food and friendly service. We requested for special food with less spices and was made to perfection.

I have been here multiple times, almost every other weekend when visiting my family in the area. We are greeted by name, given the coziest table, and immediately feel welcomed. The menu varies with the season, and they have a daily soup, which varies from their infamous gazpacho to beautiful aromatic Indian soup and many other styles. Their fusion style... More

Always excellent food, well prepared and well presented. Service is correct and prices very reasonable. My only negative comment would be that the restaurant lacks some charm. Staff are always friends and very attentive.

Amazing calamari appetizer, an unforgettable taste! So delicate, so special. And the rice wine, saki and red wine. The private collection of a local wine maker . Beautiful dinner , great and very nice staff .

The food was delicious and varied - although retrospectively we think the fusion mix wasn't quite enough. Service was polite and efficient. All in all worth eating at!

Three of us shared a pre-theatre dinner at Ginger, which is far enough away from the Festival Theatre that most people will need to drive, but parking is not a problem at either end. Ginger is quite small, so reservations are advised. It serves Asian-fusion-derived cuisine, but it struck us as more contemporary eclectic Canadian than as “oriental.” We shared... More

What a pleasant surprise! Enjoyable counterpoint to all the pretentious, fancy (and expensive) restaurants in the area. You can actually talk and be heard here, and the food is varied and great. Service excellent.

After a day of wine touring and shopping, we were looking for something lighter to eat. Stumbled upon Ginger. Great asian fusion - light meals, but delicious. Several wine options and daily dessert specials. Small restaurant, but wonderful service!

Went because of prior reviews. Food was really fresh and tasty. Wine recommended by waiter was the best local wine of the trip. Nice and quiet could hold a conversation in a very pretty room. Only negative for the price, portions could have been a little larger.
