Exceptional service!

We stopped in for lunch during our visit to NOTL, and although the food was average (dessert was amazing!), our server Wayne was exceptional. His recommendations were appreciated, especially the rhubarb cheesecake. My husband had the burger and I had fish and chips, which were both alright.

Fine and attentive service, at our table with a view of the quaint street. Delicious food, and appropriate wine paring, completed the delightful evening.

Menu offered nice variety with many options. Had lamb shank which was wonderful! Waiter was very attentive and the atmosphere was superb.

Today my daughter and husband surprised me by bringing me here for brunch. It was very lovely. The atmosphere was like something out of a elegant movie. A lady was playing a harp while we enjoyed the food. Their was a great selection of food, and it was hot and fresh. Then we went to the dessert table. Many different... More

My husband and I were in NOTL for a weekend recently and visited Escabeche for breakfast/brunch on Sunday morning. First, we were not told that there was a buffet - so we ordered off the regular menu unknowingly and then waited close to 35 minutes for our food. There was a hair in my husband's egg's benedict, and our server... More

We had a terrible experience at this place. We decided to have the breakfast buffet because we thought it was the easiest option. We were seated. The waiter introduced himself, took our drink orders and we went to get our food from the buffet. It was a pretty small table and the options were limited, nothing extraordinary. 20 minutes after... We were excited to dine here because the Vintage Hotels are always exceptional, but the food fell flat. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from Vintage - elegant and attention paid to every detail. Our service was fantastic from the host to the waiter to the sommelier. The menu, though, was uninspiring. We both had steak frites which is... More

We booked a two-night package with the Prince of Wales Hotel and included was this dinner. Initially we thought that we would probably get a set-menu specifically for the package, but were pleasantly surprised that we chose from the regular menu. The meal was one of the best we've had in Canada. The service was personable and attentive. No pretentiousness... More

We had brunch in Escabeche and felt like we were in a fine hotel in the U.K. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. It was just a delightful experience.

Service is always good, food excellent. We did not try the buffet as we do not like to get up and down. Beth our server was very attentive.
