My wife and I had our first dinner as husband and wife here 32 years ago and the present experience only strengthens the wonderful memories. Excellent food, wonderfully prepared with the most attentive service and charming surroundings. Ask for Alex as your waiter. The hotel has maintained its wonderful atmosphere while updating the facilities without changing the ambience. Most reasonable... More

We went for a pre-theatre lunch on a Saturday at noon. Our waiter was not knowledgeable about the menu. When I asked him what a tostada was he said he didn't know. We asked if it was like a fajita and he nodded and said yes yes. I saw it served to another diner and it was nothing like a... More

The food was excellent as was the service, but the best part was the atmosphere...what a beautiful hotel and location...we enjoyed just looking around and absorbing the atmosphere.

Great Service and good selection on the menu although I was surprised that the menu didn't include more local/regional foods considering we were there in August at peak season for local produce. Enjoyable nonetheless.

The breakfast buffet was included, which had a generous selection of traditional breakfast dishes. Any breakfast included in the room rate that is not continental is nice. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and we enjoyed it as a family.

We came to Escabeche for a 40th Wedding Anniversary. The restaurant decor was very elegant, yet welcoming. We were given an amuse bouche to start with, which was quite tasty. The risotto was excellent - rich but not overly filling. I followed this with the pork tenderloin. It was exceptional. The chardonnay butter was so decadent. Our server, Jack, was... More

The service was great and attentive . The food was Ok but this is judging by the two dishes I had. The iceberg lettuce salad was unimaginative and very ordinary and so was the risotto. I judge a restaurant by the simple question : could I cook this myself easily and I felt I could do better easily and I... More

My partner and I had dinner here Saturday night. We considered Zees and Tiara as alternative options but were convinced by the decor and ambiance of Escabeche. The restaurant is very elegant with table cloths and waiters elegantly dressed. We requested a table by the window overlooking the park across the street and we were easily accommodated. Jack our waiter... More

The staff went out of their way to accommodate our allergies which was a lovely surprise after the unacceptable treatment we received at Grill on King. The service was outstanding from all of the staff. The food was amazing particularly the rack of lamb and chocolate mousse cake which was a like a piece of art.
