Treadwell serves modern, “local” dishes. We went for lunch and had appetizers and a glass of wine on the outside patio. As the restaurant is just off Queen Street you're spared traffic fumes and passers-by checking out your meal. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The wine was every bit as good, but rather expensive. ($18 for a... More

We ate outside on the patio and had a wonderful meal in a beautiful and relaxing setting. The chef offers creative selections and the wine menu is very interesting.

My wife and I went for a casual evening dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Food was scrumptious and service by our waitress Jamie was marvellous. We sat outside on the terrace and simply enjoyed the food and great choices of local wines. Prices are very reasonable considering the fine dining experience.

We were celebrating a birthday, and this restaurant created a memorable dinner for us, for three reasons (1) the food was exquisite, wonderful flavours and all locally sourced and fresh, so fun to try, (2) the wait staff was obviously very well trained, knowledgeable and always available and I noticed my water glass was never empty, no matter how much... everything is fresh and from local farms or producers. the food is very tasty. I've beed there lunch and dinner and both time it was really enjoyable and the service was nice too. Wine list is quite big even if a bit pricy for what you get. Because of local food the wine list is mainly from Niagara... which is... More

This was the second time in the last month I have eaten at Treadwells. Both occasions for lunch and on each lunch it was special, tasty and simply very good. The scallops I loved so much the last time was not available; but it was replaced by an especially good sesame crusted tuna, that was nothing less than exceptional. I... More

Fine dining much better suited in its new notl location compared with their previous location in port dalhousie. Trendy contemporary decor, outdoor seating in the summer. i particularly love sitting at the counter where one can watch the skilled chefs at work. food is excellent. i've had the lobster sandwich with duck-fat fried bread, fish(perch) and chips(fresh cut potatoes) for... While touring the Niagara-on-the-lake region, visiting wineries and enjoying a couple of days vacationing with our adult children, we had dinner at Treadwells. They were busy when we went in, but our server was great, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She was willing to take the time needed to make your dining experience a positive... More

We have enjoyed Treadwell at Port Dalhousie before Stephen T. and his team moved last year to NOTL. After waiting for the matinee crowd to run to their afternoon theater, we found ourselves with a 30 minute wait for a seat in the small charming restaurant. We must have looked dejected as we stepped away. At the last minute the... More
