Food is not worth the wait, worst fish and chips ever! I agree with the previous review, if you are a local this seems to be a great hangout for drinks with your buddies (they probably don't eat here). Will not be returning!

Had dinner here with a friend... reasonable food, beer, service... but a very bad policy on Foreign Exchange... the $32.00 Canadian Funds bill came and I had just arrived back in town with just American cash... instead of paying with a credit card (for which the small establishment would have had to pay a fee) I paid with cash. The... More

Food was disappointing, staff have their regulars and are more attentive to them than new comers. Not impressed

We had dinner here after an afternoon at the wineries. We both had fish and chips which were cooked perfectly. This is a pub with good pub food and good pub prices. We only drank water, as we'd been sampling wine. The server refilled our water glasses without being asked. The washrooms are small, but clean.

The Sandtrap Pub is the kind of place you go to when you want no muss, no fuss, honest to goodness comfort food in a friendly environment that is a regular haunt for locals. When you can't think what to make for dinner, or it's Friday, or it's cold, or you are fed up, or, or or… you just go... More

We arrived in NOTL late Friday and were supposed to go here for dinner but with it being so late we decided to stay close to where we were staying and went to the Irish Harp...big mistake. I wont this to be a positive review so won't comment on the Irish Harp but we made it to the Sandtrap on... More

Stopped by for drinks and wings- servers were attentive and came by regularly, which was nice. Wings were ok, (pretty small) had the garlic butter Cajun, and I thought the flavour was lacking. Definitely no Cajun flavour that I could taste. Place is always busy, which is good to see, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Will go back... More

After a community event we ventured to The Sandtrap Pub and Grill. We had the most amazing time! The atmosphere was exciting and fun. The server and bartenders were on their game and kept the busy restaurant jumping. So great to go to a "true local" place. The owners ,locals themselves support many sports teams, and town events and charities!... More
