This is simply my favorite spot to go to in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Whenever I visit what is arguably the coziest town in North America, I always stop in the Olde Angel Inn for the excellent food and delightful service. A trip to the area is not complete unless you stop in and on the weekend the live music makes this joint... More

I would have eaten every meal here. Great atmosphere, local flavor, beer and hospitality. If you are in NOL you must stop here.

The food here is typical pub grub but it is perfectly cooked; always tasty and hot. We think that this is the best lunch place in NOTL. They have a reputation for being haunted by the ghost of Captain Swayze, who hid in a wine cask in the cellar during the war of 1812 and was discovered and killed by... More

This is a historic building just off Niagara on The Lake's main street. It serves a variety of food, mostly pub food like burgers, fries, meat pies, etc. There is an extensive drink list, including lots of imported beers. Food was quite good, and service very good, as well. Can get crowded, and you may have to wait for a... More

We ate here with friends and everyone enjoyed their meal. Servings are very generous so be fore warned. I understand they have accommodation as well. Interior is just like a traditional old english pub. Wood floors, dark beams and low ceilings. Good selection of beers on tap as well.

This beautiful town is now so expensive that the unwary traveler can find herself in a very costly and not-very-good restaurant. We go to the Shaw Festival almost every year and have always found the Old Angel Inn and Restaurant to be a reliable place to eat. Their prime rib is surprisingly good and very affordable. It's not a fancy... More

Loved the Olde Angel Inn overall. We went there with friends for dinner. It was a busy Saturday evening, therefore the seating was a little crammed in spots, but okay. The food selection and quality was fantastice - what you would expect pub dishes with a flair of true English pub food choices as well. We were seated in the... More
