I do not understand the good reviews

Ashamed for this to be labelled a "British" pub. Perhaps in style but by staff rudeness and food quality, what an insult. We arrived and sat by the fire which was nice as it is very cold outside. We ordered tea to begin with which arrived in cold pots which did not close and cold mugs. Needless... read more

Always enjoy the food, beer and atmosphere at this pub. Very historic. Try to get the table in front of the fireplace. I love craft and imported beers and they have a huge selection from which to choose. The fish and chips are very good as are the daily soup specials.

I came to the Angel Inn with my boyfriend as the beginning of a romantic weekend getaway! Perfect start! It was cozy and warm - we got to sit right by the fireplace! The food was good and very authentic - so I've been told. Curry sauce for my fries - yummy! Their beer is also great!

Hello TDuke; Thank you for taking the time to write your review. It's nice to hear that we were the perfect start to your weekend away. What's more delicious than a Curry & Fries, especially accompanied with one of our beers? It can't get any cozier than sitting right next to a fire on a cold day in January. That... More

A real pub feel close to downtown. The food was fantastic. We highly reccomend the meatloaf! They have a wider variety of beers on tap including london pride which seems hard to find in canada. The atmosphere was warm and friendly as were the staff.

Following a hike on the beautiful Niagara Parkway trial, we decided to give this historic place another try. We were greeted with rudeness, and an insulting comment that we couldn't quite believe. It was followed by a smirk and another insulting comment by a young man who was being supported by another bartender who seemingly thought he was funny. We... More

My husband and I come here all the time. The food is always good and don't be afraid to try the specials or entrees that are not "pub -like".
