Great beer, wings and service. It's a pub - and a darned good one - it doesn't pretend to be "fine dining".

This is a great spot for a late-night snack and late-night drinks! It is not a "fine dining" spot, and nor does it pre tent to be, or price itself as such. It is just a really fine pub, in a lovely historic location. Go. Drink. Munch. Enjoy.

We stumbled into olde Angel around 10:30 on a Friday night - in the seemingly sleepy town. We walked in and were just blown away, with the crowd, the band and the energy. Our waiter recommended the scallop appetizer, it was great. My only beef, and this goes for all of NOTL, please stock your bar with good beer! India... More

Lovely old English pub with great food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Staff are very friendly and professional and add to a memorable experience. Make sure you have at least one drink or meal here when you visit Niagara on the Lake

The English fare on the pub menu is all great! I had the Shepherd's Pie this time, and it was amazing. What a great beer selection as well; the only place around that carries my fav cider; Blackthorn. All in an 18c loyalist settling, it is enchanting.

We recently stayed at the Olde Angel Inn with relatives from England. We stayed in the General's Quarters which had 2 separate bedrooms and 2 baths and a small sitting area. It was plenty of room, and very clean. The beds were fairly comfortable, not great, but I am picky. No sign of ghosts! The staff were very friendly. It... More

Hello hercnikki; Thank you for taking the time to write your review. Sleeping in another bed is always subjective because it's never the same as sleeping at home and what you are use to, but I'm glad to hear it worked out for you and you were comfortable. You cannot beat staying at The Olde Angel Inn because of the... More

We had visited the Olde Angel Inn back in November 2014 to have lunch in the pub before doing the Ghost Tour and promised ourselves to come back and stay at the Inn the next summer. We did just that for two nights August 14-15 in the Governor's Suite, sharing it with our close friends. The room had 2 separate... More

Hello 494bryanta; Thank you for taking the time to write your review. It's so nice to hear that you had a chance to stay with us in one of our most historic rooms. The Governor's Suite with its hand hewn beams has plenty of charm and character and if you didn't know, the beams in that room were recovered from... More

Fun place, really old school British pub look with the low ceilings and all. Not for the precious - can get loud - but it's a real pub! Decent prices and great service! Music at night.
