I had the chicken and peach pie, an odd combination but quite tasty, my husband had meat loaf, rather dry. Service was good.

This was one of the juiciest portobello mushroom burgers I've ever had. We didn't see the ghost, although a slice of tomato shot from my burger to the floor.....could the old angel been jealous? Should have been ... Very tasty!

Brilliant menu. The atmosphere is that of a British Pub as is the menu. Great selection on the menu of both food and beers and ales. Great music too.

We asked a local shopkeeper where to go for lunch in Niagara-by-the-Lake and she told us to go to The Olde Angel Inn. We found it quickly and we were not disappointed - historic building, great friendly staff and really good food. Oh, great selection of beer too! We left happy and satisfied to continue our exploration of this historic... More

This old inn is a great property in a great central location within walking distance to everything. If you are night owls, this place won't bother you. We were aware that the rooms were right over the Pub which has a very active bar scene with loud bands every night until 12:30. This did not affect us, but would bother... More

The Olde Angel Inn is behind the main street of Niagara on the Lake and the Old Court House. It is an historic pub that is now owned by Stephanie and her family. The ambiance is original and historic with a beamed roof and low ceilings. The pub is clean and light even though old. The service is relatively new... More

Dear Marni K; Thank you for taking the time to write your review. By the sounds of it you really enjoy our historic nature. It's always nice to see the re-enactors drop by for lunch as they do give the Pub that "Back in time" feel. If you have a chance to browse the pictures on our website, there are... More

You just have to go to a have a few pints and watch out for the ghost. The pub is just off of the main road but worth the 1 minute walk for lunch or dinner

Stopped in for a beer on Sat August 30 and walked in on a screaming match amongst the bar staff. Very uncomfortable did not stay for beer. Came back later for the live music. Very lively atmosphere and enjoyed the selection of beers. Loved the selection friendly staff. Glad I gave the pub a second chance.

this was the first place I found that had some recognisable drinks being from the UK. the atmosphere was nice and friendly a welcome stop off on a hot day, I did not eat here but if I had more time probably would have, what I observed looked good.

Dear Dave T; Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I'm glad to hear that you had a chance to stop by for a visit. You would indeed find recognizable drinks from the U.K. because we are a British Pub that was built by the British so many years ago (Circa 1789). The Owner himself is English... More

Maybe expectations were raised by the glowing reviews from other TripAdvisor travellers but I struggle to understand what exactly sets The Olde Angel Inn out as a restaurant to seek out. Looks great from the outside but the dining room is pretty nondescript and the menu no more than your standard pub food. Yes the food filled a hole but... More
