We enjoyed afternoon tea at the Prince of Wales hotel in August. The food was very good, but it was our server, Chrissy, who made the experience special. She was efficient, knowledgeable and friendly, but it was her great sense of humour which made the afternoon so much fun. She also suggested the peach tea, which was amazing.

My husband and I enjoyed our third afternoon tea at The Prince of Wales Hotel today. We opted for the Monarch Package which included cheese and a Kir Royale. We were warmly greeted by our server, Grace, whose enthusiasm for the various kinds of tea was infectious. She is attentive without being cloying and highly knowledgeable about her leaves! In... This place is a gem in Niagara-on-the- Lake. My wife and two children have made the trek from Toronto semi- annually for the past 5 years and have found he experience consistently rewarding on each visit. Our usual hostess, Chrissy, always greets us warmly. The ambience is one of complete elegance. They recently changed their tea purveyor and we feel... More

Great spot to have lunch prior to a Shaw festival Play. Park and leave your car for lunch and the play. Two block walk to the Royal George Theatre. Sitting on the enclose porch/sunroom with beautiful views and a glass of wine is the way to pre game for a Play. Oh yes good food and excellent wine list.

Very surprised that what we had considered a high class restaurant could be so extremely disappointing. After a very long wait to place an order, we ordered the Monday Night oyster & martinis special. After a very long wait to receive our drinks and watching other customers receive their oysters, we searched to find out why our oysters had not... More

To start with the Prince of Wales Hotel is truly a treasure. I could have spent an hour in there just looking at the decor and assorted antiques and artifacts. We had a 1:00 pm wine tour booked right across the street at Grape Escape though and we arrived just before noon, so we took a quick look around and... More

A real highlight of our recent visit to Niagara On The Lake. Beautiful and elegant room and excellent service from our server Chrissy. The new peach tea is not to be missed and the tiered food service was both a visual treat and yummy. Highly recommend stepping back in time and enjoying this relaxing and fun lunch experience.

Three of us arrived around 5:30pm on 7/23, Wednesday, Sandy told us the place will close in few minutes. And the kitchen is closed. But we saw 2 people just got their seats before us. We asked can we sit down and have tea and Sandy walked away and ignored us. And other waitress sat us down and took our... More

Very nice afternoon tea with all the works. Several varieties of teas to choose from. We had sandwiches, scones and sweets. Highly recommend.
