Very surprised that what we had considered a high class restaurant could be so extremely disappointing. After a very long wait to place an order, we ordered the Monday Night oyster & martinis special. After a very long wait to receive our drinks and watching other customers receive their oysters, we searched to find out why our oysters had not... More

charming, beautiful setting, good food; have had tea at the Prince of Wales, and lunch, several times over the years, and each time was a pleasant and delightful experience

To start with the Prince of Wales Hotel is truly a treasure. I could have spent an hour in there just looking at the decor and assorted antiques and artifacts. We had a 1:00 pm wine tour booked right across the street at Grape Escape though and we arrived just before noon, so we took a quick look around and... More

A real highlight of our recent visit to Niagara On The Lake. Beautiful and elegant room and excellent service from our server Chrissy. The new peach tea is not to be missed and the tiered food service was both a visual treat and yummy. Highly recommend stepping back in time and enjoying this relaxing and fun lunch experience.

Three of us arrived around 5:30pm on 7/23, Wednesday, Sandy told us the place will close in few minutes. And the kitchen is closed. But we saw 2 people just got their seats before us. We asked can we sit down and have tea and Sandy walked away and ignored us. And other waitress sat us down and took our... More

Very nice afternoon tea with all the works. Several varieties of teas to choose from. We had sandwiches, scones and sweets. Highly recommend.

There is so much more they could do to improve this High Tea. The sandwiches were dry on the outside and a few of them had barely any filling. The scones were a bit heavy in texture, but were served with real clotted cream. The other little pastries on the top level were mediocre - nothing tasted buttery. The 3-tiered... More

We had to wait a long time for our food to be served but it was worth the wait. Food taste excellent. A little pricey but still ok as most retaurants around have the same prices on their menu.

Beautiful room. Instead of tea, we enjoyed wine and beer! We also munched on delicious Canadian cheese, grapes, raspberries and blueberries. Finished off the event with warm scones with butter, jam and coddled cream. Superb!!!
