We had High Tea with cheese plates in the sun room on a weekend afternoon. Service was attentive and prompt. The food was tasty although the portion sizes were much larger than expected. The only downside was that the hotel was packed with tourists who were there just to take photos of the hotel. As such, the bathroom was tucked... More

Mike and Linda had two different teas and got two different tea pots for the table. Old fashion tea service on china and the full works. We will be back

On a rainy day, looking for easy late lunch. Stopped by to eat outdoors and had nice Fish and Chips with homemade tartar sauce. Very nice meal and service. Went inside to use restroom and wished we'd gone inside to eat..fantastic decor!

One of the major highlights of our weeklong stay in Niagara-on-the-lake was Afternoon Tea at the hotel. Our wonderful experience began with the superb service provided by Chrissy. In all our world travels, she is one of the best servers we have ever had - friendly, knowledgeable, ready to take group photos, and always on the go, making us feel... More

This hotel has 3 different areas to eat that has their own flavor of decor. We ate in the Victorian tea room. We felt like we were in a dream. It was perfectly decorated with unique areas filled with antique furnishing, fresh roses, relaxing music, English maids, and a plethora of food on the 3 tier tray. An experience not... More

The service is a bit slow, but it adds to the relaxed atmosphere. The good is good, but the price is a bit higher than one would expect.

The foie gras was excellent, just a small portion. The lamb was o.k. but the veal tenderloin was incredible. Moist, flavorful and a reasonable portion. The server didn't use the wine key correctly and broke the cork in a $200 bottle of cabernet...we lost about 2 oz because of cork residue. They made up for it with comp'd desserts, a... More

This delightful experience made us feel as though we were dining in a restaurant from days gone by. The entire experience was fantastic. Our waiter was Very knowledgeable and attentive. We sat within ear shot of a couple in their 80's that return regularly when they attend performances at the Shaw Theater. They were adorable and only added to the... More

Incredible food. We had the tasting menu and every course was amazing. The wine pairing was perfect. Service friendly but not too much. I usually do not like familiar waiters but thus one interacted perfectly. Setting gorgeous. Waiter surprised us with Port at the end of the meal. Fresh soup, a great vegetable salad with curried oil. Foie gras, lamb... More
