It was my first trip to the Prince of Wales and my fiancée booked us for tea in the drawing room on Sunday afternoon. We were a bit hungry and stepped in to see if we could take us earlier than our 3 pm reservation. They had room and fit us in. We very much enjoyed the cheese options and... More

After abandoning this place a long time ago due to bad service and poor quality, I recently returned only to be happily surprised. Excellent service from the most two hard working tea room staff, exquisite pastries and especially their delicious scones, a fine array of teas with perfect explanations from the staff, and superior efficiency in service. I have always... More

We had high tea here on New Years Day. It was amazing! Victoria was awesome, knowledgeable and attentive. She really made us feel welcome. Victoria was friendly and warm. The portions were huge. We had the leftovers packed up and brought them back to our room. The tea room is beautiful. The furniture and overall atmosphere was stunning. Food quality... More

Brought my daughter and her best friend to celebrate her birthday. We had high tea once before in London England at the Wollsley and this was equally wonderful. Fabulous parlour/drawing room that transcends you to the British coveted tradition; lush couches and chairs with a fireplace in the main drawing room and tables in the sunroom overlooking the snowy streets... We really really really had a great time here. The hotel and the tea room are absolutely beautiful. Each piece of furniture and decor pieces were a piece of art. The servers were extremely friendly and carries a big smile. The afternoon tea portions were big. The tea pot was huge. The food quality was amazing (very delicious scones, buttercream... More

Came down to Niagara on the Lake for birthday celebrations and my one request was to have Afternoon Tea at Prince of Wales. Obviously from the photos on the Vintages website I could tell it was beautiful inside and The Drawing Room would transport us for an early 1900's proper experience. Upon arrival, the stunning Christmas decor just made it... More

I am from Niagara, in my mid-40's, had never been for afternoon tea at POW hotel. I urge those of you who haven't been, in the strongest terms possible, go! We had been to the Shaw Festival for a film which was a perfect date in and of itself; the POW was the sweet icing on top. We went for... More

Ok... we moved into Niagara On-The-Lake recently. Bought a house and in the process of renovating it so we can run a B&B here and live a retired life! So, we have been checking out the places to eat and see...! My hubby and I took another couple who live in the city to dinner one night... it was an... More

I had always wanted to do high tea and when I went to Niagara-on-the-Lake on my honeymoon the Prince of Wales was highly recommended to me. It was incredible! Our server, Grace, made the experience even more delightful by recommending teas (the Heavenly Cream and sugar violets are now my favorite) and letting us know that the scones were hot... More
