Unforgettable

This was long-anticipated, and we were not disappointed. Heavenly cream tea was amazing. Friendly staff, namely, Grace, who was very knowledgable and spent time guiding us through all the options. Food tip: we went straight for the warm scones and didn't have enough room to finish the tray. We... read more

My husband and I treat ourselves to High Tea at the Prince of Wales in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario a couple times a year. The atmosphere in the tea room is turn of the century elegant, the tea selection and accompanying food is exceptional and the service is impeccable! From the moment you arrive until you leave, the staff... More

This was my fourth time here in almost 2 years. The first time we went (full price in June 2013) we loved it, we got tons of food, the service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was lovely. Every other time we've gone (2 for 1 in November 2013, full price in June 2014, 2 for 1 in March 2015) we've... More

Looked forward to experiencing high tea in an upscale restaurant . The decor was very tasteful , in a beautiful old hotel. Our server was very nice and attentive . Our disappointment was the tea. It was served just barely hot ! Not only that, but the silver tea pots and serving platters were tarnished . Perhaps being off season... More

I'm a fan of afternoon tea and have eaten it at the ritz in London. I've got to say this is better. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The food - sandwiches, cakes, scones are delicious. It has a gorgeous atmosphere with lovely furniture, paintings and smells delicious. If you are visiting this area it's a must !

This was such a treat we came back a week later to do it all over again. The wide selection of fine teas and Chai served in fine China and polished silver topped off with a very tasty selection of finger sandwiches, pastries and scones with jam and Devon Cream makes for a lovely interlude. Our server, Victoria was most... More

My mother and I went for our first afternoon tea experience at the Prince of Wales and loved the entire experience. Grace was our server and was extremely attentive while allowing us enough space and time to enjoy the experience. The Darjeeling 2nd Flush (with sugar roses/violets) was exquisite and the tier of tarts, quiche and scones were plentiful, fresh... More

It was my first trip to the Prince of Wales and my fiancée booked us for tea in the drawing room on Sunday afternoon. We were a bit hungry and stepped in to see if we could take us earlier than our 3 pm reservation. They had room and fit us in. We very much enjoyed the cheese options and... More
