A Wonderful Experience.

Visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake is better when the madding crowds are not present. We arrived at this pub about 2 p.m. on a Monday in March after the break and few patrons were around. My husband, daughter and I stopped into Corks for a late lunch around 3:30 p.m. We had seen a dish on the menu outside and noted it was not on the menu we were given. It was the dinner menu and they were still on the lunch menu. The wait person asked the kitchen to make this for us and... More

My husband and I were walking down the street in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake and stumbled upon Cork's. It has a nice heated patio, so we sat at the table by the window. The menu isn't very impressive, but has decent food choices. Our server was incredibly slow and seemed not to be familiar with basic restaurant customer service basics. It took... More

We stopped in at Corks for dinner around 6 PM on a Saturday, as most of the shops were closing in Niagara on the Lake. The front of the restaurant where we sat is an enclosed patio wit heating elements, though they were not strictly needed as the sun kept us warm and did not dip behind the buildings until... More

The service was friendly and welcoming but the food was not up to expectations. It is more a tourist trap than anything else. Mouth watering food comes dry and cold. I guess the chef is tired of making the same food everyday.

The outside appearance of this place is promising- you'd expect good, modern food. It was disappointing though. I applaud the staff- we wanted food to go because their heated patio isn't pet friendly. My partner asked the waiter if their fries are fresh and handcut. He was honest and said no, they're frozen. Not a big deal to me because... More

Seems like location allows this restaurant to serve ok food. The service is fast and pleasant but I think they could step it up a bit more. I wouldn't go back here just because it was like school cafeteria caliber of food and we were looking for something special.

We ate here on Saturday night. I had the Mediterranean Pasta and a glass of wine, my husband had the Lamb Burger and a beer. Everything tasted good and the prices were quite reasonable. Service was fast, friendly and efficient.

If you're in the restaurant/bar business, it seems the most profitable way to stay in business is TO BE OPEN! We walked in for dinner at 7:55pm (gasp!) and were told they were closing. On a Thursday. Yes, Thursday. The only reason that I even gave this two stars is because the helpful server, who told us they were closing... More

Just stopped in for a soup and beverage along our path. French onion soup was just ok. However, service was great!
