A Restaurant that Closes at 8pm on a Thursday?!

If you're in the restaurant/bar business, it seems the most profitable way to stay in business is TO BE OPEN! We walked in for dinner at 7:55pm (gasp!) and were told they were closing. On a Thursday. Yes, Thursday. The only reason that I even gave this two stars is because the helpful server... read more

Just stopped in for a soup and beverage along our path. French onion soup was just ok. However, service was great!

Dinner and music at Corks one winter evening was pure fun. A live band was playing with a pretty good lead guitarist. the beer was local and good. The ribs were juicy and ice wine in chocolate shot glasses were just right to complete the evening.

Great calamari and good steak. Prices were very reasonable. Bar type restaurant with a heated patio. Very good customer service.

Food was great. Server was friendly and very attentive. We had the lamb burger with feta cheese and the grilled seafood platter for two that came with grilled calamari and octopus very well presented and very tasty.

After the commercialism of Niagara Falls we just loved this amazing small town which is very picturesque. This bar/restaurant has a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome. We did not eat but the food looked very good especially the burgers and sandwiches. We had two different beers from Bays of the Lakes and Red Velvet breweries which were both very... More

It's a shame but nothing went well here. Service was slow and waiter kept forgetting orders. Fish and chips were really poor - powdery mushy fish, way below par chips. Lamb shank had good flavour but again bad texture - huge limp of seasoning in the mash - almost devoid if gravy . Big disappointment in a beautiful town. Was... More

Tried the heated patio and were very comfortable. The food was great - the fish and chips were excellent and the serving sizes were more than adequate. However the service certainly left something to be desired. There were 2 couples and we told the server at the very start that we wanted separate checks. We were handed just one with... More

Stumbled in here in the middle of a snow storm after visiting the falls. The whole town is so picturesque, and even more so in a full blizzard shower of fluffy snow. The snow lasted about twenty mins and completely covered the place. Beautiful to see. This pub has unreal patio heaters, perfect to escape the snow. The soup was... More

It has a great building as do most places in Niagara-on-the Lake but sadly it is not much more. The food is average at best and expensive and the service is not great. Have been there a couple of times to give it a chance and both times come away disappointed. There are better places to eat and enjoy a... More
