Nice little family run restaurant. Solid omelette, loaded with lots of stuff (I hate it when they serve you 2 tiny pieces of green pepper, onion, ham etc) . Lots of families, nice quaint rooster decor.

This little place not right in the centre of things in NOTL is known for its pies...20+ varieties on the menu each day. We tried the peach-raspberry and the chocolate cream...both yummy. Good quality homestyle mains as well -- you won't leave hungry!

We went for a late lunch and there was no one in the parking lot. We almost went somewhere else, thinking maybe they didn't have good food. I am so glad we took the chance because the food was amazing, the owners are a local legend, and the pies are mandatory. Four other groups of patrons came in during time... More

The food here is pretty good. You really get a lot for your money. Nothing to brag about though. The potatoes and pancakes were very tasty. The eggs were good but the coffee was excellent. Would definitely go back just because it was such a bargain. Would have loved to tried their pies!

We ate lunch here a few times. Finding a healthy choice wasn't easy, so we had scrambled egg sandwiches each time. The service was very good, especially when you're in a hurry to get to a play

The breakfast here is great and don't be surprised if you run into a Shaw Festival actor here on the weekend. Service can be a little slow, if you hit the morning rush.

After doing some homework on Tripadvisor I decided to bring my family here due to the variety of food and decent ratings. I knew based on the reviews and price point that this wasn't going to be a five star restaurant. We arrives during the Sunday lunch rush. We were seated quickly and given menus. Within 5 minutes our waiter... More

We stopped in for lunch after a drive into town from Toronto. My boyfriend had tasty home-style burger and fries and I had a BLT - with the best coleslaw I've had in years! Service was friendly and attentive. Simple small town atmosphere, family diner style. Would definitely eat here again.

The Little Red Rooster lives up to its name with décor--lots of roosters, ceramic, wooden and photos. Roosters everywhere! Varied menu offers salads, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, pasta, chicken dishes and specialty entrees. Good down-home food in a casual setting.
