We had tea and gingerbread as a mid-afternoon snack. They were getting ready to close, but they accommodated us. Both the tea and cake were refreshing. A nice break.

After browsing the Irish wares up front, why not have a snack or nice tea or lunch stop. Smaller and more quiet if you are looking for something light to eat.

We stopped in just after the lunch rush on a Sunday (2:30pm) and had a lovely strong cup of tea with scones and clotted cream. Scones were large and tasty. Given it is at the back of the Irish store on the main drag, it is surprisingly quiet. Staff are friendly and offered up hot water for our tea pots... More

Try the patio for lunch. This restaurant offers traditional Irish fare. We enjoyed Shepherds Pie made with sweet potato topping. It comes with two side salads. The beet salad is particularly good, but the broccoli salad was very nice too. Together it made a very attractive presentation. Service is excellent. The desserts looked amazing but we had no room left... More

A little tea room with a great selection of teas and coffees. The cakes and scones are delicious and the service matches the excellent quality food.

What a find. We had biked up here from Niagara Falls and were hungry and stumbled upon this place on Queen street. We locked up our bikes (but we really did not need to) and walked through the Irish store to the restaurant. It was small but had tons of character. We had chicken and leek pie which was unbelievable!... More

This was a find for my wife who is gluten intolerant. The owner Pat is too, and so offers several gluten-free dishes. My wife had salmon cakes while I had the Guinness and steak pie. That was a taste of Ireland in the new country! For dessert we had the Bailey's almond slice which was a generous slab of dark... More

This Irish tea room is absolutely amazing. I generally stay away from bakeries/cafe's because I am wheat intolerant but my partner suggested we go in for a coffee and it was so quaint I couldn't decline. I'm SO happy we went in! We had the most amazing lunch. Much of the menu is gluten free AND almost all of the... More

We stopped for a wee cuppa, and some soup & wheaten bread. The soup was delightful, and the wheaten bread took us back, and we felt like we were eating a meal on the old sod of Ireland. Wonderful lunch!
