Visited on a subzero evening and although it was a Monday and very slow, food was excellent. Don't recall our servers name but she was very attentive and you would never know she was the only one working. Had the onion soup which was very good and the mozz/tomato salad which was the size for a meal!. Entrees of salmon... More

We stopped in for a light lunch - a salad and Margarita flatbread pizza. Both were very good. We also tried a local wine and brew both of which were suggested by our server. While the beer was good the wine was much better. Our server was kind enough to write the info down for us and even offer a... More

We stopped in for lunch after visiting the wineries. Just looking for a snack and torn between the pizza or cheese plate. We went with the cheese plate and weren't disappointed. But next will try the pizza

I found this place on line and from the website, while I knew that it wouldn't be "fine" dining, I certainly expected better than what we got. First of all, the lighting, seating, and menu selections speak of glorified diner dining, and if we were only so lucky as to be able to get glorified diner quality food, that would... More

Seems like more of a Pub than a Bistro. The food was average, the service slow. It was alright, but I would try somewhere else on my next visit.

visited this restaurant for Fabulicious in NOTL. All 4 of us were very pleased with the food, (both steak and risotto) as we discovered this lovely place on the main street that we had walked by many times to visit more high end places. (that will change). Beside the delicious dinner the staff was terrific, friendly and professional. We reviewed... More

We always visit Bistro 61 when we travel to NOTL. The look is deceiving when walking by as it looks like an informal pizza/family restaurant, and although it does accommodate informal meals, it also can compete with the pricy restaurants that are in town. Service is always friendly and timely, and the food is delicious and we always walk out... More

Visited recently for a fabulicious dinner. While I live locally I had never been here before but was drawn by the menu for fabulicious. My venison risotto was flavourful, rack of lamb done perfectly, and cheese plate quite substantial. My date's steak was over done but they were very polite and professional in getting a new one done to her... More

My husband and I ate dinner here recently and were so glad we did. I need to eat gluten-free, and was especially delighted to find a restaurant which serves gluten-free pizza. I had the Mediterranean pizza and my husband had the barbecued chicken pizza. . Both were not only delicious, but also innovative, with very fresh ingredients, Definitely not the... More

This unassuming restaurant right on the main street, was a real surprise. We really enjoyed the hand made, wood stove pizza. I had the vegetarian ( with a pesto base) and my husband had the Mediterranean ( both under 15.00)- hard to say which we enjoyed more. Our waitress, who was very pleasant and attentive, agreed both are excellent choices... More
