We ducked in here to get out of the chilly rain and ordered the French Onion soup, which really hit the spot! Quick service and good atmosphere!

Stopped in after a wine tour followed by a walk through the town with several stops. Attracted by their herb garden in a window box in the front window. Luckily we were seated inside that same window. We then got to watch all of the other tourists stop to marvel at that same window box. This was while we were... More

First Visited the restaurant while on the Taste the Town food/history tour and sampled the Mediterranean pizza and red leaf beer. Impressed enough to come back minutes later for lunch. Had the bacon and potato pizza and grilled calamari...fantastic!!! Highly recommended if you want a casual resto with very high quality food at reasonable prices.

My husband and I had been traveling all day and were very tired and hungry when we visited Bistro 61. Our server made us comfortable right away and told us just to sit back and relax. I had yummy vegetable soup and my husband had the shrimp and sausage pasta. It was the best pasta he'd had in a long... More

My husband and I and another couple that we were traveling with visited here in late August. We had just finished a wine tour and a walk by the lake and were looking for a light lunch in the downtown. Bistro Six-One, located right on Queen St. in NOTL, fit the bill. We were surprised how quickly we were able... More

Love, love, love this place and the wood-oven pizzas. This is our 7th year in a row at NOTL and each year one of these lovelies is a treat we give ourselves. This year was the Hawaiian, but we've also wallowed in the vegetarian, the BBQ chicken and the one with potatoes and bacon. Definitely large enough to split. We... More

Lunch today at the Bistro. Stone oven pizza with a nice thin crust was wonderful. Our waitress was charming and took good care of us.

During our stay in NOTL, we dined one evening at Bistro Six-One. We were promptly seated and scanned the extensive menu and wine list. The atmosphere was comfortable, the server very polite; however, the delivery of our meal seemed a bit long. I enjoyed the Lobster Ravioli which is not what you'd normally expect. It was cheese Ravioli with the... More

When visiting Niagara on the Lake, this place was recommended as a casual dining experience where we could get a good burger or sandwich. It sounded like our type of place, so we made sure to stop here before the end of our visit. However, upon entering the restaurant our experience wasn't great. Right after we gave the hostess are... My wife and I were doing a little shopping downtown Niagara on the Lake and decided to stop in for lunch, I ordered the Montreal smoked meat sandwich which was amazing. It can with salad and cole slaw that was also great. My wife ordered a hamburger (freshly made) it was big and fresh. We will be going back for... More
