Go for the mussels

We were hungry, it was late, no debate, we went in. The restaurant was fairly busy but service was prompt and efficient. Our table ordered the asiago artichoke dip, wood-fired pizzas, brined pork chop, PEI mussels, and wild mushroom raviolis. Everyone liked their meals, everyone loved the mussels... read more

The ambiance is nice - not too loud. Lots of booths which promote privacy. The menu has quite a bit of variety. Our server was friendly. Our food came very very quickly and was very tasty. We enjoyed the meal and would gladly eat here again.

Stopped at this spot for a quick lunch. Our group of five found a comfortable table, pleasant knowledgable server and best of all a good lunch. House made soup, original lightly dressed fresh salads, generous real meat sandwiches. Best French fries in a long time. We were pleasantly surprised. We would go back.

My husband & I split the pizza of the day and a ham & brie sandwich. There was nothing to complain about but nothing that stands out either. Our waitress was friendly but the other staff were rude and acted like we were bothering them by walking in the door. The bathroom was dirty. Unlike some of the other reviews,... More

Wanted a quick dinner before seeing a play next door. Bistro Six-One was recommended by the our B&B. Ordered a pasta dish which was excellent. Staff was helpful getting us in and out.

The food was good, the service above average and fast. They understand that you are going to the theatre and have no time to sit around and wait. A pleasant experience. Problem, acoustics are bad and it is loud. They had the radio on - not needed.

We had dinner here with friends and it was a lot of fun. The food was all very good. This just a small little place in the middle of Queen Street that doesn't look like anything spectacular from the outside but b the food inside is definitely worth the find and not nearly priced like other places in the area.

This is a great casual place to grab a tasty dinner. Prices were very reasonable. We shared a pizza and a sandwich both of which were very good. Wine/beer selection was also very good. Excellent service.

Bristo Six-One is set in the middle of a block of various shops and restaurants on the main street and doesn't look like much from the street but once you are inside you are greeted by very friendly people who just want you to enjoy yourself. The decor is is deceptive at first, modern and functional but not overstated. It's the... More

We enjoyed a very nice meal at this restaurant and had a super server! Friendly and hospitable, she made the experience quite pleasant for all members of our party. The French onion soup was superb and the wood fired pizzas were very good. Great meal in a gorgeous town on a beautiful evening.
