The appetizers were fantastic, however having paid $160 for two person 3 course meal, we were expecting quality service and food, however it was a very disappointing experience! Here's how it happened: 1. We didn't any get bread while all other tables got bread. 2. The lamb shank was extremely raw and it was barely cooked. We could still see... More

This restaurant has both excellent food and service. Set in an restored building overlooking the vineyard. They have their wines by the glass or bottle, try the Reserve Red or Sand & Gravel Red. Great place to do some wine tasting in the historic house and then go for lunch or dinner. Definite place to go when visiting Niagara on... More

Review title about says it all. Very pleased with this place; none of us had a poor meal. Service was a bit harried as busy, but not at all bad. Needless to say, some excellent wines from their vineyard.

Our friends made reservations in October 2011 for our vist to this wonderful area in Jan/2012 for six (6) people. We ordered lunch and drinks about the same time. One of our friends ordered a salad. The salad arrived along with the drinks. After waiting over an hour for our meals to arrive we asked our waiter. Our waiter gave... More

This bistro is greatly over rated. We there on an evening which was not terribly busy but service was appallingly slow. Trying to flag down wait staff was almost hopeless. The 3 meals we ordered were mediocre at best. We were celebrating our anniversary and a friend wanted to treat us. Sadly it was not a treat for anyone and... More

My wife and I ate at Ravine Vineyard twice on our recent trip to the Niagara region. Both meals were excellent, the service was exemplary and the view note-worthy as well. We had trouble deciding even what to order as so many choices sounded delicious. I am allergic to dairy and the sauce on my veal cheeks was so rich... More

We have just returned from our windy rainy weekend in Niagara on the Lake and just had to take a few minutes and report on a restaurant that won us over. My husband and I and our travelling companions dined at Ravine on Friday evening and we all agree it was the best meal we've had for quite sometime. From... More

The haricot vert at Ravine is to die for. Consistently wonderful. Best way to enjoy lunch or dinner is to order a variety of smaller dishes rather a single entree. Amazing variety of presentation of steamed mussels. Their frites is truly French bistro style. The wine at Ravine is not retracted to its own but includes other wineries. If available... More

We stopped off for a bite to eat before our drive back to Toronto after a staff member at Pellar Estates reccomended it us since Pellar's restaurant was not open for dinner yet. I am so glad she did. The atmosphere was very farmhouse/rustic but I still enjoyed it. We requested to sit outside as it was a beautiful afternoon... More
