This place sounds like it would have been a great place to go but it is now closed. Based on the great reviews on here, we tried to go on Dec. 27 but it is no longer opened :/ We then got frustrated in finding a cheap place for breakfast in the area and went to Denny's which was a... More

Very peculiar place... kind of like eating at your grandma's house, if your grandma is a hoarder. But don't let that detract from the personal, attentive service from the owners, Rose (who cooked for me some wonderful pancakes) and Pat (who spent most of his time quietly watching TV in the back, periodically coming out to provide us with souvenirs... I went there last saturday with a buddy and what struck me first when we walked in was the smell of dampness. And mould. Combine that with an employee who decided to sit IMMEDIATELY behind me in a nearly empty "restaurant" ( empty of PEOPLE - there's piles of crap all over the place) have a very animated conversation with... Having read the reviews, i looked forward to visiting this "restaurant" - what a dump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I thought i had stepped into an episode of Steptoe. We bought 2 coffees and asked for milk and the waitress (?) brought a carton and plonked on our table and walked away. We left without even trying it. I am sorry but i appear... More

...but it's downright creepy. There's nothing attractive about hoarding in full public view. And this is major hoarding. Sure there are interesting vintage license plates and cute outdated menus but, really, I was afraid to use the men's room in case I took a wrong hallway and found Anthony Perkins' mom. The girl got my egg order wrong. The smell... More

Very quaint,a picker's paradise.A step back in time to a different era, blast from the past.No preconceptions, just call in when you go to the Whitewater Walk.

I'm so disappointed we waited until the end of our trip to try Simon's. This place is amazing! It is very un-touristy! There are only 6-8 tables in there and when we went in, during the middle of the week, it was almost full of locals. The breakfast was amazingly affordable (under $5), and delicious! They serve you on paper... More

In a town full of overpriced chain restaurants, Simon's is a welcome change for any traveler interested in experiencing something authentic and local. As noted in another review, the inside of Simon's does seem like an episode of Hoarders, but I thought it was interesting to look around and see all the different tchotchkes acquired throughout the years. There was... More

Thanks to TripAdvisor we stopped at this local establishment we probably never would have visited. Simon's is the oldest restaurant in Niagara Falls. Upon walking through the front door, we felt like we were in an episode of "Horders"! Definitely a fun place to experience some of the local color. One of the patrons even told us a story about... I have visited Niagara Falls many times over the years and have seen Simon's several times. I definitely always thought it was an interesting abandoned property...until we went on the Niagara Falls Ghost Tour and they told us this was the oldest operating restaurant in the city. I couldn't believe it was actually open still! My friends and I decided... More
