We were visiting Niagara with friends and couldn't decide on what to eat so we turned to trip advisor as we always do and searched Mexican. We were a little hesitant at first but once we were seated and received the chips which were great but not free like most Mexican restaurants we knew we made a good choice. We... More

This is not the first time I've gone to Taco and Tequila and it certainly won't be the last! I always have a really good experience there, bith with the food and the service. Just a few days ago I went with some friends. We ordered nachos, guacamole and the quesito dip as appetizers to split. They were all delicious:... More

We always eat at least one meal here when we visit the Falls. And we always will. Consistently good food, friendly, welcoming atmosphere and great service. We both had the guacamole and the fish tacos. Delicious, as always. Drank mucho cervezas as it was "bucket night" (Sunday) which includes 4 imported or domestic bottles for $20. Great deal. Didn't have... More

First of all, the waitress was friendly, but the restaurant was kind of bare. There wasn't a pleasant ambiance. Now let's talk about the food. We ordered 2 kids' meals + 2 regular meals. The kid's burritos had nothing in them but meat and my child had trouble swallowing his bites because they were so dry. When we asked the... More

Being latino and having been to Mexico countless of times, I can honestly say this place has the best Mexican food AND best service of ANY restaurant I've been to. My husband loves their gluten free options and their margaritas. He says they are better than the ones we've had in Mexico and he's right! Everytime we go, we get... More

Not just the worst Mexican i've had, but possibly the worst meal of ANY kind that i've ever had, period. Bad nachos. Bad Margaritas. Went with (what I thought would be) the safe choice, steak fajitas and it was horrible. Off-tasting steak, mushy onions and peppers. I got sick in the bathroom before we even got the check...which wasn't hard... More

I was in Niagara Falls on holiday and randomly stopped into this restaurant because they were offering free appetizers. What a pleasant experience. The food was excellent and the portions were large. More than enough for two....Ended up taking leftovers back to the hotel (which conveniently had a fridge). Service was excellent - had a great experience & would return... More

Taco & Tequila was a bit of a relief for us from all the extremely expensive places around Niagara Falls. The prices were very standard and the food was delicious. The gentlemen worked there were not only very attentive to their duties, but extremely personable and willing to offer tips to the travelers. Highly recommended.

Our server was great (+ 1 star) but the margaritas were horrendous - sickeningly sweet (we ordered a Corona to mix in but didn't work). Food was disappointing too (tacos, enchiladas, kids burrito, queso). We are not foodies, but spending $100 on this quality of food is really disappointing. I can't understand the 4* rating on Tripadvisor.
