THIS "SWEET" Restaurant's use of FACEBOOK

S M's review of Savoury and Sweet Restaurant is likely fabricated: the restaurant has not used facebook since December 2014! I have been a patron since 2012 and have had the best service and consider this little place a real gem in every respect

We are locals and our family has dined here on several occasions. Generally, the food is pretty good - nice schnitzel, dessert crepes are good, brunch is a bit meh. It's a family run business - wife is in the kitchen and the husband runs the front of house. We would joke around about the service ... he seemed to... More

We just celebrated my husband's 60th birthday at Savoury and Sweet. We had 34 people including our 4 active grandchildren. Tomas was an excellent host and helped to plan the party. The food was excellent with a wonderful variety. Our friends and family all raved about the food being the best they have had. Our 1 guest was gluten free and... More

This casual restaurant has harkens back to yesteryear with its historical feel inside. There is a nice view of the Chippawa Creek out front through expansive windows and if weather is right, you may sit outside on a couple of tables. It is primarily a breakfast and lunch restaurant although is open for supper on Thursdays through Sundays. The supper... More

I called this restaurant and spoke with the manager/owner and made a reservation. Right up front he told me that a large private party had reserved most of the restaurant for a birthday celebration. He told me that he would be glad to sit us but wanted to let us know about the big party but that they would be... More

This little gem is worth visiting. It has really good Hungarian/German style food. Very small, so make sure you have a reservation. Nice area of Chippawa to enjoy a stroll after eating too much! Enjoyed the schnitzel with spaetzle, and fantastic crepes for dessert. A must try.

Three weeks ago we went to Savoury and Sweet Friday night for their jazz evening. The music was very good, better really than one might expect at a small restaurant on the outskirts of Niagara Falls. The food, however, was a revelation. It's central European, so I expected a heavy, meaty, stodge-like meal. It was all of those, but really... More

My grandmother is from the ex-yogoslavia....and i can honestly say that the weiner schnitzel and nokedli (homemade dumplings) tasted just like one of her homecooked meals. A nice getaway from the touristy area of Niagara Falls. We dined while the sun set and had a lovely view of the river.

Absolute delight. Great food and Tomas (sorry Tomas if I am spelling your name wrong) and his wife are wonderful. He speaks passionately about his food and culture. Celebrated our 25th there and it was perfect. Crepes are wonderful. Try the pecan and caramel one! Hoping to come back for a Jazz night.

Upon making a weekend trip up to Niagara Falls, myself, my Fiance and two friends who had come with us were looking for a good place to eat after walking all day long. After doing some research on Trip Advisor, Savoury and Sweet seemed to be a rock solid option. Their menu looked fantastic and being away from the tourism... More
