We went this past April for an 85th birthday lunch and had such a memorable experience. They had all of our favourite Hungarian dishes and the staff even spoke in Hungarian to my grandma which made her feel like she was back in the old country. The food was authentiuc European and delicious. A little bit of a wait but... More

This place is awesome! Tucked away local joint with a quaint, casual vibe and terrific food. Unique offerings that you don't see often. Owner/operators are super friendly and everything is made from scratch. Don't be in a hurry when you go here...relax and enjoy the fact that they are carefully crafting your meal just for you!

Yesterday 8/8/15 my girlfriend and I stumbled upon Savoury and Sweet, by chance, after arriving in Niagara Falls , and that was about the best luck we have had as far as restaurants go. This little European style cafe/bistro has a nice quiet atmosphere, which is an excellent change from the pace and noise of Clifton Hill. We were absolutely... More

My wife and I try when possible to dine at local restaurants when travelling. Why frequent the large chain restaurants when you are away from home when you can visit them anytime. We were in Niagara Falls Canada for 2 days this week and decided to try the Savoury and Sweet restaurant because of the excellent reviews we read on... More

I visited this restaurant in June 2015, and was wowed by the delicious European flavors. The spaetzle, schnitzel, soup, and crepes were delectable. This is a husband and wife establishment, where the wife cooks and the husband serves the tables--very charming. I also liked that the restaurant supported local musicians and artists by showcasing their work. It was nice to... More

What a pleasant surprise this place was! my husband and i were on a trip with our adult daughter to Niagara Falls and had not made plans for dinner on Canada Day, so we called here. Our places were set when we arrived and there was only one other party so we were a bit nervous. However, the owner took... More

If Central European food strikes your fancy, you have come to the right place. Everything is fresh and delicious. We enjoyed top quality wiener schnitzel with spatzle, and veal goulash. Host Thomas Brummer was quite charming and served these homemade dishes with love and gusto. Don't miss the assortment of dessert crepes is this off-the-beaten path eaterie.

My sister had raved about this restaurant in Chippewa (Niagara Falls, Ontario) and so my husband and I decided to try it out for our anniversary dinner. Authentic Hungarian food, just like Mother used to make. I had the chicken schnitzel with red cabbage and spaetzli. My husband had the cabbage rolls and European potatoes. Everything was delicious. Wonderful unrushed... More

Attended my sister's birthday party luncheon at Savoury and Sweet today and what a pleasant surprise it was. Best ever perogies, cabbage rolls and crepes. Host (husband) and chef (wife) were so friendly, attentive and accommodating. This restaurant gem deserves the many rave reviews it has received. We will return again for sure.
