Excellent find--excellent food.

What a pleasant surprise this place was! my husband and i were on a trip with our adult daughter to Niagara Falls and had not made plans for dinner on Canada Day, so we called here. Our places were set when we arrived and there was only one other party so we were a bit nervous. However, the owner... read more

If Central European food strikes your fancy, you have come to the right place. Everything is fresh and delicious. We enjoyed top quality wiener schnitzel with spatzle, and veal goulash. Host Thomas Brummer was quite charming and served these homemade dishes with love and gusto. Don't miss the assortment of dessert crepes is this off-the-beaten path eaterie.

My sister had raved about this restaurant in Chippewa (Niagara Falls, Ontario) and so my husband and I decided to try it out for our anniversary dinner. Authentic Hungarian food, just like Mother used to make. I had the chicken schnitzel with red cabbage and spaetzli. My husband had the cabbage rolls and European potatoes. Everything was delicious. Wonderful unrushed... More

Attended my sister's birthday party luncheon at Savoury and Sweet today and what a pleasant surprise it was. Best ever perogies, cabbage rolls and crepes. Host (husband) and chef (wife) were so friendly, attentive and accommodating. This restaurant gem deserves the many rave reviews it has received. We will return again for sure.

First, let me say that if there was an option for a negative rating on Trip Advisor, that is what this restaurant would receive. So, let me tell you about my experience. My family had a reservation at Savoury and Sweet for 5:30 p.m. However, we made it to the restaurant at 4:50 p.m. that day -- certainly earlier than... More

I was in Niagara Falls recently with family and we had read the many rave reviews of this restaurant so we decided to check it out. I called the restaurant at 3 p.m. and made a reservation for 5:30 for a party of 5. We arrived at about 4:50 p.m. and the restaurant was empty. The gentleman, I presume the... More

We reserved Savoury and Sweet for a wedding rehearsal party dinner. Being from out-of-town we has no idea what we were in for.... and the results were outstanding from the service, the décor (supports local artists) the atmosphere to the wonderful buffet.

This restaurant isn't much to look at from the outside, but dining there last night was a very pleasant experience for my family. The setting is intimate, overlooking the river, with only a few tables inside. The restaurant is run by an older couple (he waits the tables and she cooks), and the service and food were both top rate.... More

It was a Sat night and I was surprised we could get a table for 6 at 7.30pm despite the hot reviews on Tripadvisor. My first reaction when we arrived was one of concern. There was a family of 6 who sat next to us and a couple of small tables. Little did we know that we were in a... More
