After walking up and down Main street for 30 minutes and then asking a shop owner for directions we still could not find the restaurant. We again went by numbers and finally came across a very dimly lit house with a hand written sign in front. There was barely a light on and this was in a Very Seedy section... More

Very expensive, poor food, poor ambiance, we were the only ones there for good reason. I will never return, there are much better choices out there.

Eastern European (Czech/Hungarian) hidden gem. Cooking like Aunt Sofia, with organic herbs and fresh cheeses and meats. Dark, intimate setting in a historic home. Cash only

We went for my husbands birthday. We were only ones there. You could hear her using the microwave over and over. My food was cold and tough. You can tell things were prepared before and defrosted quickly in microwave. I would not recommend. I hate giving poor reviews and its got to be bad for me to do this. im... More

Excellent little gem, we actually had our wedding dinner here, with family and then went again this year and still loved it ! coq au vin, is my favorite and my husband is a huge dumpling fan and he said they are the best dumplings he has had. Call for reservations.

My boyfriend and I went for a quiet anniversary dinner there. It is definitely a hidden gem. The atmosphere was perfect, the service was wonderful, and the food was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be returning in the near future! :)

This would be the perfect safe house for George Smiley. It's very likely that Jim Prideaux was stashed there after his luckless intrigue in Prague. Jarmila is the owner/chef and has been in Canada for 30+ years. She's a buxom Eastern European hostess who entices her guests with exotic Czech and Hungarian dishes. A spicy as you want, the sauces... More

Went there last night for a romantic dinner and couldn't be happier that we did. The pride and knowledge that the chef/owner has in her food shows. She makes everything from bread to cheese herself and grows her own organic vegetables. Even the simplest thing like garlic bread was the best I've ever had. She took the time to explain... More
