I booked a family brunch for 7 at the Glenerin Inn and was really looking forward to it. The food was ok but the atmosphere was extremely lacking. We all agreed there was no warm welcome, no ambience and lukewarm service. For example when we arrived the guy in the front desk told us we had to wait for the... More

We get together once a year at this time with friends. This year we were to return to the Glenerin Inn which they booked over a month ago. Three hours before our dinner, we were called and told that a larger party was taking over our reservation. Too late to make alternate plans. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE TRUST THE BOOKING... More

Nice meal, prix fixe menu good value, great historic location. Meals range 21-37$. Sunroom private room accommodates up to 16, and it was lovely to have this historic room to ourselves while a wedding revolved outside.

We reserved for a birthday dinner on a Sunday evening when we were called and told a wedding banquet was booked. The dining room was closed but we could eat in the lounge. We agreed and arrived to find a table all set up for three of us near the fireplace. We had the place to ourselves and had our... More

Stayed one night on business. Hotel is quaint, clean and bed very comfortable with lovely bedding. Room was Very small - had to be careful walking by the bed to the washroom that I did not hit my head on the very low sloped ceiling. Not set up for business folks-no desk , had to sit on the coach to... More

Lovely historic building with fascinating history... well kept and managed, meals were excellent and the rooms beautiful. The king sized bed was so comfy I slept like a log. Very quiet for a busy city.

My husband and I frequently have diner at The Inn and have enjoyed there cuisine. However Thursday night was not up to par. The food was mediocre and cold. The service was great and the ambience made us feel that we were somewhere else than Mississauga, the entertainment was amazing. We will not go back for the Thursday Night BBQ,... More

The spot was pretty. We had a lovely outdoor seat, which we enjoyed for as long as we were welcome. (We were nudged to leave our brunch visit as a wedding needed our spot). Service was ok - everyone did their job, but nobody above and beyond. Buffet was very 1990. This place needs something new to bring it back... More

We should have read the reviews prior to having dinner here. I ordered the shrimp and scallops in puff pastry for $28. It sounded delicious, but what a disappointment - a few lukewarm scallops and shrimp in a hard shelled pastry cup with a few small bits of asparagus scattered in the sauce! That was it! When I called the... More

Fine dining prices, with poorly prepared food. Let me start with the good: anything that was bought and not made on site was good, like the cakes, cheese, smoked fish, fruit, this chef can't even make potatoes. They were dried out seemed like they were sitting there for hours just horrible, and it was 11:00 am. Dry rice, the bacon... More
