We were warmly greeted for our lunch reservation (and told we were their first customers of the New Year!) and seated next to the fireplace - which was not lit. We both ordered green tea and, after a brief interval, the host/server/chef came to tell us that he had only one serving of green tea left, but could offer mint... More

I was invited to lunch at the Chelsea by a family friend and loved the place instantly - it was like being welcomed into someone's home. Friendly, intimate and cosy, the food was excellent and very good value too. The service - though attentive - was painfully slow, with only two serving staff in attendance despite the place being packed... More

My friend was visiting Mississauga and we decided to go for lunch. The one place I chose was booked, so I tried the Chelsea Restaurant. I hadn't been there for awhile, but knew the food was fabulous. We both had carrot/ginger soup. It was so good, I didn't want it to end, but I'd ordered a tune sandwich as well.... More

The food at Chelsea is very good. We had an appetizer and a main course and they were both great. The problem is that there was a 1h 20m interval between the two courses, and for some in our party of 10 that was completely unacceptable. In fact, three people in our party had literally stood up to leave when... More

Once again fantastic....I visited Chelsea's this Thursday and my business associate and I chose Japanese curry. It is normally served as a vegetable curry with rice, but the chef was more than willing to prepare it with chicken. OMG what a meal. Well done Chelsea we will definitely be back..

If you're looking for a restaurant where you can chat and enjoy good food, this is the place. Located in an old house there are 2 rooms for dining on the main floor - not many tables so make a reservation. Three of us were dining. 2 of us had the carrot ginger soup for starters and one the tomato... More

Food was well presented & tasted good. Only trouble was that as soon as we sat down we were told that several items were "off menu". The décor hardly fit an historic home. Tacky is the word I am looking for. Too bad. It could have been so pretty. The potential is there. Our waiter ( owner?) was a very... More

Cute little place, not very many tables would recommend reservations. Food was excellent. Soups and salads were fresh and tasty. The fish special was delicious and jsut the right size. Liked that they had large bottles of beer and did wines by third of bottle as well as by the glass. Service was slow however, soup and salad plates stayed... More
