This restaurant offers a combination of sushi and Chinese foods. I really prefer the sushi offerings over the hot items that tend to be a little overcooked and deep fried. It is a buffet restaurant so there is a varied offering of food. Save room for dessert as Wasabi, in spite of its name caters to the sweet tooth in... More

This restaurant has a wide variety of sushi and Chinese foods. You serve yourself, buffet style. For someone who wants to try "one of everything," this place can offer that experience, you don't have to get 6 of an item like in most sushi places. However, the quality of the sushi is average (like one might get in a grocery... More

The Wasabi Grand serves a really wide spread all-you-can-eat buffet consisting of appetizer, salad, soup, sushi, sashimi, teppanyaki, tempura, dim sum, noodle, some Chinese and western dishes and a large selection of fresh fruits, ice creams, cakes and various desserts. Priced at C$17.92 per person during weekday lunch, it is worth your money to dine here. But do expect quantity... More

Well, to start it's 13.99 for all-you-can-eat lunch buffet which is good. When you walk past the sushi bar the variety amazes you. Then you grab your first sushi rolls and you find the rice is too sticky and not cooked well. But then you notice the other half of the buffet which has Mandarin-style chinese food offerings, which supplements... More

They still put MSG in ALL of their food. The manager said I could not even touch the sashimi (raw fish!!!) or rice (even the sushi rice vinegar they use has MSG also!!) for fear of msg exposure. This is an expensive buffet! $30pp+tip. For that price, I'll go for REAL FOOD at any other restaurant, thanks. While I appreciate... More

Wasabi has a huge selection - similar to a Mandarine. They have better sushi choices tho as well as sashimi, which is why I go there. The steamed crab I had last week was overcoked tho, which was disappointing. Atmosphere is pleasant service was good. Value for money is good, considering the choice available.

Wasabi is not cheap, at least compared to most oriental buffets in the USA. But in Canadian terms it is well worth the cost, with a large range of freshly made sushi and sashimi, good cold buffet, made to order noodle dishes, a moderate range of hot dishes including tempura, and decent selection of deserts (though only limited fresh fruit).... I'm a Buffet sort of girl. All-you-can for only $13.00? I'm in! Time to pig out ... only I didn't end up doing that because ... This Buffet was recommended by a friend who adores it. When we parked outside, it looked promising. A clean, modern exterior, and the building was huge! I was excited. Inside, it looks clean. There's... More
