Ordered a take away three different dishes, they didn't know what mushroom pilau rice was, one of the chef specials , a Khadai special or something like that ,looked and tasted identical to a bhuna dish, the chicken tikka missal tasted like it was made with Heinz tomato soup, the poppadoms were small and the the assorted pickles , well... Haven't been for the buffet, as I'm not a fan of Indian buffet. I am a however a big fan of Indian food. Have eaten in once with a group of friends, and did take out once as well. The food is tasty, but not going back as it's crazy expensive for a la carte, considering the amount of Indian... More

Went with friends who did the ordering, but everything I tried was delicious. I went to dinner and would like to go back for lunch buffet so I can try many more things.

Ambiance of India surely delivers a royalty like dinner service. The restaurant is very classy with ornate dining tables and chairs, light fixtures, and copper serving bowls and utensils. Music complemented the whole atmosphere of the place, so it's obviously not one of those restaurants with tacky musical theme! Food is gastronomically delicious, bursting with palate-pleasing flavors in your mouth!... More

I tried the luncheon buffet at Ambiance of India. The setting needs an update and everything needed a thorough cleaning. The buffet is divided into hot and cold. The best part of this was the freshly made naan bread. There was goat curry - the curry was mild and the meat quite fatty. The tandori chicken was good but a... More

Classic Indian cuisine in the British style, this restaurant was perfect for our "curry fix"! The service was fast, the food delicious and the Kingfisher beer cold. The garlic naan was especially delicious, and their papadom was "fluffier" than the usual thin, dry lentil cracker I have usually encountered - all in all, a great place to eat if you... More

Came here on the Brit-friendly curry ticket having been recommended it by some UK friends as 'their local and the best they've found in 10+ years'. Enjoyed the meal very much - seemed quite similar to curries at home which is good - ordered too much as usual. Naans lovely and fresh, service attentive. Haven't tried any others here in... More

Came here with a few friends for their lunch buffet; it was pretty empty. To say the least, we were the only ones there. The buffet size was just the same size as any other Indian buffets I've been to. The food was fairly good, but I wish they had Samosas; that's the best part of any Indian buffet! The... More

This was one of the best Indian food I've ever had. We had the vegetable pakora to start - delicious and mildly spicy. And for the main, we ordered: Chicken Curry, Lamb Vindaloo, and Bangian Patiala - egg plant dish (this was really really good) - all the mains were really good. The service was good and the food came... More
