Did we go to a different place than everyone else?

This was our fIrst time there and it will be our last! The only good thing was we had been given a gift certificate so it didn't cost us anything. First of all not sure how burgers and pizza are french cuisine?!? This is in no way a french restaurant. The services was so slow. We had a... read more

When compared to its competitors on the London, Ontario dining scene, The Only on King is simply without peer. Originally from Toronto, I've lived in London on-and-off for the past six years and have tried pretty much every restaurant here, from old mainstays to new spots. Nothing comes close to The Only. It is one of the few places in... More

I went for my birthday dinner and we asked ahead of time for a chef's tasting menu with wine pairings. We didn't know what was coming at any stage and ended up having an absolutely amazing meal. I'd go back in a second

Small restaurant on King Street. Should make reservations. Not the best location in town in my opinion, but there is lots of parking nearby. Friendly and efficient staff, and good food. They had 2 sittings on new Years Eve and we went to the early one at 6 PM. Fairly quiet so we ( a group of 8) could converse... More

Was visiting a friend from London and she booked dinner here. Had a lovely night out and dinner. Very nice but on a cold night it was delicious. We shared the gnocchi appetizer (great to share) and then I had the Trout Wellington (nice but not a best ever meal). We then shared dessert - earl grey brûlée which was... More

Birthday dinner and was excited to go. Was placed at a table for 2 at front window. This front window table is next to the expresso machine at the end of the bar, which meant if coffee is being made, you can't hear ANYTHING. Also, it blocks the entire view of the restaurant, so we were cut off from any... More

A great restaurant with very delicious and usually creative foods. Staff are extremely nice and attentive. The food is delicious, just the space is a bit small, so make sure to book a reservation otherwise the restaurant may be booked up. Great food and amazing new cocktails weekly. Highly recommended spot.

The Only on King is great! The food is consistently amazing and the menu is constantly changing with what's in season. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere that is the perfect balance between relaxed and upscale- no pretentiousness. It might be a little on the pricey side, but you could easily spend the same amount at any other restaurant in... More

My wife and I who are in our 60s were in London for a reunion and needed a light meal between events. We chose a salad and the gnocchi appetizer to share. The tastes were out of this world. The quantity was perfect for our situation. We loved the atmosphere too!

I've had over ten meals at the only on king, the first three times were absolutely incredible but the quality of my meals have been declining ever since. The food is tasty but is usually pretty one note, just rich. You can cover every meat dish in demi Glace but it doesn't make it instantly good.
