A nice surprise.

My wife and I went to dinner with another couple to celebrate a birthday and we were concerned by some of the most recent reviews. Our concerns were unfounded. It was a very nice night and the service and food was exceptional. The restaurant is small with about 32 seats so it feels warm and... read more

Was so excited to try this place! Has a lot of potential but very disappointed. Steak was ok but waaayyyy overpriced. Staff didn't seem very happy to be working. Would not go back.

never going back very rude staff and such a small cramped dining room. Someone in the kitchen just walked out and quit..We seen this person on the street after we left the place ans we told him we ate there and asked what happened...He said the head chef is disrespectful and rude...Maybe thats why the food was terrible and the... This was our fIrst time there and it will be our last! The only good thing was we had been given a gift certificate so it didn't cost us anything. First of all not sure how burgers and pizza are french cuisine?!? This is in no way a french restaurant. The services was so slow. We had a reservation for... More

When compared to its competitors on the London, Ontario dining scene, The Only on King is simply without peer. Originally from Toronto, I've lived in London on-and-off for the past six years and have tried pretty much every restaurant here, from old mainstays to new spots. Nothing comes close to The Only. It is one of the few places in... More

I went for my birthday dinner and we asked ahead of time for a chef's tasting menu with wine pairings. We didn't know what was coming at any stage and ended up having an absolutely amazing meal. I'd go back in a second

Small restaurant on King Street. Should make reservations. Not the best location in town in my opinion, but there is lots of parking nearby. Friendly and efficient staff, and good food. They had 2 sittings on new Years Eve and we went to the early one at 6 PM. Fairly quiet so we ( a group of 8) could converse... More

Was visiting a friend from London and she booked dinner here. Had a lovely night out and dinner. Very nice but on a cold night it was delicious. We shared the gnocchi appetizer (great to share) and then I had the Trout Wellington (nice but not a best ever meal). We then shared dessert - earl grey brûlée which was... More

Birthday dinner and was excited to go. Was placed at a table for 2 at front window. This front window table is next to the expresso machine at the end of the bar, which meant if coffee is being made, you can't hear ANYTHING. Also, it blocks the entire view of the restaurant, so we were cut off from any... More

A great restaurant with very delicious and usually creative foods. Staff are extremely nice and attentive. The food is delicious, just the space is a bit small, so make sure to book a reservation otherwise the restaurant may be booked up. Great food and amazing new cocktails weekly. Highly recommended spot.
