Chose Black Trumpet to celebrate my anniversary and had a wonderful meal. The weather was warm and sunny so really enjoyed our table sitting by the fountain in the courtyard. Our server was excellent. She made great suggestions helping me choose the perfect cocktail ( a procecco and peach based delight). My appetizer was a light caprese salad (bocconcini cheese,... More

We had a nice birthday celebration at Black Trumpet last weekend. While the waiter was excellent in his attentiveness, the kitchen let him and us down on their lack of knowledge regarding what is and what is not Gluten Free. One of our guests has Celiac, with a severe intolerance to gluten. I advised when making the reservation and was... More

Excellent food and service. Was very noisy being so close to the kitchen and we had difficulty hearing each other throughout the evening. Next time we will sit in the front room. But the food and service is always excellent and nice ambiance.

Not always amazingly creative but always consistently good - good food well prepared. I have never had a meal there that was not very good. Very nice venue too.

If you're looking for a truly elegant dining experience in London, Ontario, be sure to check out this spot. Great staff, delicious food, and unique ambiance. I had the perch for my main course and it was absolutely perfect. Keep in mind that it is a bit pricey, but well worth an annual visit at the very least. I know... More

After our tremendous experience here last year, we were past due to try again. Corresponding with Winterlicious, we arranged for a cozy pre-Valentine's day dinner on a Saturday night. The hostess was gracious, and we were seated promptly in the back, where we did find the room a bit loud and the decor a bit dated (green paint and wood... More

Did Londonlicious at the Black Trumpet last night. Between the four of us we had maki rolls, the game appetizer, pork, lamb shank, bt bowties, seafood linguine, brownies, ice cream. The food was excellent. Service was good - a little slow but Elton was in town and it was a full house. A pre dinner blah mojito but good wine.... More

Probably the nicest atmosphere and finest dining experience in London. The portions are generous. I hope they change the menu soon. Really have enjoyed salmon with maltaise sauce and the carrot cake in the past, but they're longer on the menu.

The Black Trumpet should be near the top of your list when choosing a place to eat. It is not that expensive, has a great ambiance, great food and friendly attentive staff. There is a private room upstairs if needed. Parking is a bit of an issue but that is so everywhere in London these days. Make sure it is on... More

this is a 5 star restaurant no doubt, food was excellent, service was very good; location and ambiance was great great. We visited on a Wednesday night, it was a little slow and they gave us a nice private spot near the patio... I think had there been more guests it would have been warmer but we both were a... More
