A Pleasant Improvement

I always attend for the theatre with my wife and mother. My mother is 92 and buys her subscription for Wednesday afternoons. The last time we tried the Tasting Room before the theatre the service was dreadfully slow despite a warning that we, and it appeared others, were going as well. The food... read more

Our visit got off to a rough start when the server or hostess gave away our reserves window table and wanted to squeeze us in the back. As we waited at the bar (forever... 3 drinks and appetizers later) the bartenders Chris and Kara really saved the day. Their personalities are dynamic and they entertained us and took such good... The food and service here are always fantastic, but the acoustics are so bad they make it hard to enjoy the experience (depending on where you're sitting). They had a flood a few years ago and we all thought that when they renovated it would have been the perfect time to do something about the sound, but they didn't, and... More

We have eaten here many times. We always say we'll try somewhere different but we keep coming back. We love the staff, particularly Reid at the bar. The food is especially tasty and always consistent. We really enjoy the tasting menu; sharing a few selections and always trying something different or new. The portions, even for the tasting menu are... More

This has been our 3rd dining experience at the restaurant ! We have yet to be disappointed . The food was awesome again along with the service. This has been our goto place after watching a show at the Grand Theatre. For starters we had the Bruschetta, which can easily be shared, for the main my wife had the Salmon... More

Interesting mix of old school items plus some interesting new ones. Catch of the day was black cod with garlic mashed potatoes ... it could have used seasoning... kind of bland Way too many potatoes though... starch overload

I love this restaurant. Great food, normal portions priced appropriately. Their wine flute gives you an option to taste a variety of wines without committing to one thing specific

This is my daughter's favourite place and we treated on her birthday including a one year old and a two year old. The staff were so natural with the kids. The appetizer menu is plentiful and is the source of many delicacies such as a mean calamari served with a garlicky sauce and a spicy pork on a bed of... More
