This restaurant was simply amazing. Right from the start with the friendly service and the amazing venue. Then the food was just amazing, you can tell it was all fresh local ingredients just as advertised and made with love. Then the desert was also homemade and delicious. With live piano in the background made the night even more enjoyable. Also... More

Michaels has been my favourite since it opened in 83. I had not been for a long time and wanted to share it with some special friends on a recent visit to London. I emailed to arrange things and ask for a river table - the gm was quick to respond and I was thrilled to learn being gluten free... More

Food and ambiance very good. Prime Rib was very good. Thought Caesar Salad recipe had changed..a little too acidic now.

Lovely setting, great service, and overall a good experience. Asked for a break between starter and main and they accommodated us. A bit disappointed with the food. Shrimp starter : the coating was soggy and not crisp as you would expect, the escargot were over done. Main - the scallops were succulent and beautiful, but the accompaniments were indistinguishable from... More

Well I would have to say that this is one of the more famous Fine Dining Restaurants in London. I knew it would be pricey but I had heard wonderful things about Michael's. The menu item I was so excited to try was the famed Michael's table side Cesar salad. It was good admittedly but not the best I had... More

Food was delish. We were there for a special occasion and they kept rushing us ... not allowed to linger AT ALL. We paid a fortune for this meal but will never return as our presence there was obviously a problem.

My wife and I were here this past weekend. The service was slow. The French onion soup I had was almost tasteless and little cheese. My veal Oscar was not very hot, looked like a processed Harvey's hamburger patty and only two shrimp. After two tastes I sent it back and declined to re-order anything else as I almost gagged... We googled "steakhouse" when visiting London for my husband's army reunion, and found out The Great West Steakhouse had closed in 2006. Michael's came up listed as London's best romantic restaurant; I was impressed with the reviews I read and booked a reservation for that Sunday evening. We were impressed with the ambience, and we were directed to the enclosed... More

We returned from a trip to France in October. To say we were disappointed in the food there would be a gross understatement.
