Lots of food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. We went for the lunch buffet after playing ball and the boys were rolling out of there stuffed--always a good sign.

Judy's aunt Ilene in London wanted to go to the Mandarin for her 91st birthday, so since the Birthday girl always gets the choice, away we went. She had made reservations for 1 pm, which was good,as they were lined up out the door, surprising on a Monday. We were seated at exactly 1 pm. The table was "walker-ready" with... More

This restaurant had a bunch of little extras. When we were seated we were given a wash cloth to clean our hands prior to our meal. They also had frozen yogurt available. My kids just loved the cotton candy machine. It was our sons birthday, the waitress took his photo and framed it. All these nice touches plus a wonderful... More

On the afternoon we dined in the Mandarin the place was packed and we had a fifteen minute wait for a table. Because of the turn over I expected a wonderful meal and was a little disappointed. The food was plentiful but uninspired. If you closed your eyes you could be eating any ho-hum Chinese takeout. The salad bar was... More

Other than the lobby, the atmosphere is nothing spectacular, the same cannot be said about the food. The food is quite excellent for a buffet style venue. Great Chinese food, Prime Rib Roasts, wonderful shrimp and seafood selections...you can't lose. We've even taken kids and they love that there is Pizza and lots of wonderful desserts (including Chocolate -dipped Strawberries.... More

the Mandarin is my favourite buffet - always an appealing variety of items - and well replenished. Hot foods are hot - and cold foods cold (always a good thing!) You have to try their cappucino ice cream - no sugar added - wonderful taste & texture. I called all over Ontario (no kidding!) to find the supplier - but... More

We've been here countless times with multi-generational family gatherings. There's something for everyone, and although the food doesn't change much between visits, there's plenty of it. We are usually celebrating a birthday or something, and the staff will bring over a dessert (despite the fact that we're totally stuffed by that point), sing happy birthday and take a picture of... Not the best service or atmosphere but offers a variety of delicious food at a very reasonable price. Better reserve a place ahead if going on weekends
