I enjoyed the curry chicken pot pie. Just enough curry flavour...not too spicy. Excellent cappuccino. My friend had the flatbread and carrot & parsnip soup...both very tasty. Only negative...pot pie had to be sent back for further heating...was only luke warm in the centre when served to me. May try sitting on the patio next time and watching the planes... More

Had such a great lunch there during last Christmas season and went for dinner last week with high hopes and was so let down. First let me say the service was excellent. They didn't have the wine I wanted, but no biggy, found another substitute. My friend ordered the cod dish and I had the special feature which was shrimp... More

Such a surprise. Have been Katana in the past with wonderful meals and experience. Today a group of us decided to try their breakfast. What a disaster. It took 15 min to place a drink order after being seated, then 10 min later when the coffee did arrive, there was no milk or cream. After asking our server for this... More

Establishment was of course off the beaten path but as our friends suggested the restaurant was well worth the trip. Menu was excellent. (We would only recommend some more fresh local perch and such but that suggestion is few and far between.) all orders were cooked to absolute perfection. Possibly a form of 4 funghi risotto shaved off with a... More

My Hubby had been to this restaurant in the past with a friend and we wanted to find somewhere that we could fly in to and then walk from the plane for a nice meal for a friends special birthday. This place filled the bill perfectly! We were a party of Six and I was able to call ahead for... More

We stopped here for breakfast after returning to the London Airport. The service was excellent. The food was made with fresh ingredients and cooked as ordered. We will definitely go back to see how others meals are. Well done

Highly recommend if you are looking for a great meal with exceptional service. A small but quality menu in a comfortable atmosphere. The location and views of the airfield are unique. Reservations are recommended.

Went with a friend for lunch during the Christmas/New Year's break and was just wishing I hadn't waited so long to return. Perch was the lunch special, which is what my friend ordered and I had the Reuben sandwich with fries. Portions were large, hot and extremely tasty and fresh. The loaded potato soup was delicious. We had a great... More

Why oh why hadn't I tried harder to get here!? A quick pickup at the airport and a zip over to the Katana for a lovely dinner with my Mom. An interesting location on a dead end road just off to the west side of the London Airport makes it a fun place to sit and watch the jets coming... More

Can't remember details a month after but my girlfriend and I had a best lunch ever. The food was delicious, the wine was good and the service was very good. We enjoyed ourselves so much and would gladly come back again... and again.
